All in all, if you are looking for great coffee, Omotesando is the place to go. The hype, in my opinion, is still a bit overdone, but I have to say, the coffee has only gotten better over time, and it's not the worst place for people-watching if you manage to snag a seat. Their espresso is now perfectly balanced and blends well with your choice of cow, oat, or nut juice. Their pastry selection has also expanded, and now carries a modest artisanal spread, from Pistachio Financiers to sugar-coated brioche. Croissants also abound, and in the colder months, they carry Italian Panetone, which soaks up that coffee brilliantly. The space is still small, and during the busier hours, your only probable choice will be to stand at one of the back counters with your tiny spread. They still don't offer take-away cups, unless you're willing to shell out £5 for one of their reusable cups. The bright side: You get those £5 back if you return the cup. Being one of London's finer purveyors of coffee, they also sell pricey beans with a little something for every coffee lover to take home with them. The cappuccino my brother ordered also looked pretty good. The staff working here are really friendly and welcoming as well. She was very attentive and asked us if everything was good and if we needed anything else.
