This is fantastic food. With that said, you might think, then why is it poorly rated. Because there was some serious flaws. I went with a large group on a Saturday night. We had 7:30 reservations. When we showed up, we could not figure out if they turn out all the lights for "ambiance" or if there was a problem. There was a problem. All the electricity went out. I can't fully blame the restaurant for this but they should have called us in case we wanted to change our plans, or they should have some sort of generator in case this problem occurs. They took us up to their third floor where there was lighting (minimal), so we can to pull out our phone flashlights to read the menu. The service was nice but they were a bit slow and brought some incorrect orders. The food is incredible though. I had a duck taco which was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend has the fish of the day (salmon) and his was cooked perfectly and served with an excellent taboule. My mom had the chicken curry which had the right amount of spice and the jazmin rice on the side was good. I also tried a friend's spare ribs and those were great. The starters we had was the hummus, carpaccio, burrata salad, and fried calamari, which were all good, but I would probably skip the calamari next time, as it was a bit rubbery. When we went to order dessert, they were out of quite a bit of things, which was weird, since we ordered at 9:30 and the place doesn't close until 2ish. I know they were out of just a couple things for dinner but it seemed all a little chaotic. The prices a very very high here, so if these problems happened elsewhere, I don't think it would be a problem, but if they feel they can charge what they do, I expect a perfect experience. read more
