I ordered delivery from here and my chimichanga was okay, not great but not terrible. I love chips and cheese dip and I was beyond disappointed. It doesn't seem like an easy thing to ruin, but it is when it tastes like chips and queso from the snack aisle at Dollar Tree. before the pandemic, we went here ALL the time! This was our first time back. it's like a more authentic version of Chipotle. We love the food and the variety. The food was still great but unfortunately the staff have changed. There were 4 ladies working the drivethru, counter, and register (plus other people working in the back). Unfortunately, 2 of the ladies were too busy gossiping and laughing on the food to wait on us. It was very frustrating and I was grossed out that the younger lady had no mask and was laughing all over the food. The 2 other ladies doing food were masked and ended up waiting on us and the drive thru customers since the younger lady was too busy laughing to pay attention to us. Guys. I went Monday to get a burrito bowl. It was good but since u asked for added lettuce it was way more lettuce. Driving through and my husband really wanted Mexican. He thought his burrito was phenomenal. The flavored rice was incredible. One of the best burritos I've ever had, he said. The pork was lean and tender. I got a bowl with chili pork el pastor. The meat was a bit too grisly for me but I did very much enjoy my bowl outside of that. The ingredient options were many. We thought the mild salsa was delicious. I wish they had margarita's as I almost always have a margarita when I eat Mexican. Authentic? Couldn't say. Damn tasty? Yes mam! Open late, clean (a little stark) little restaurant serving some yummy queso blanco, chips and guac. Also; the ingredients in my veg burrito were fresh and flavorful. The menu is set up pretty smart, they follow the kiss principle of keeping it simple. The same ingredients/toppings/fillings (whatever you wish to call them) are used and you have the options of tacos, burritos, quesadillas and tortas. This is definitely the definition of a hidden gem. The location is a former rib joint in the strip mall near Polito's, and the atmosphere is certainly nothing to write home about. The food, however, is fantastic. Think of it as an authentic Chipotle. You basically create your own burrito, taco, torta etc. with about six different types of meat (or veggies), three types of beans, and all kinds of great toppings or fillings. For example, they have both pickled and fresh jalapenos, about four or five different kinds of salsas, along with the traditional guacamole, poco, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, cilantro etc. Having been there a few times now, the spicy chicken and spicy pork really stand out from other Mexican places in town. I LOVE GOOD Mexican food! This place has never been on my radar until I saw Groupon was having a deal here. Turns out it was NOT a GOOD DEAL!!! The restaurant has a very EMPTY feeling to it- like the owners ran out of money and never quite finished the place. I had a $10 Groupon, so I started trying to decipher the menu. The menu board is just a list of food ingredients and dishes with no prices! I am REASONABLY intelligent and I could not figure-out what sides and ingredients came with the Chimichanga I was ordering, and the counter girls weren't much help at all. I asked for a Cheese Quesadilla and the girl made me a Chicken Quesadilla! Then the counter girls appeared to be getting an attitude with me because they could not understand what I wanted and I could not understand what they were saying! I paid for the food so I might as well try it- the Chimi was terrible! About 1/2 an inch thick of layers and layers of greasy tortilla rolled up on the bottom and unidentifiable "mystery meat" that was supposed to have been ground beef. A very odd, unattractive taste made me leave most of the Chimi un-eaten. The Quesadilla was O.K., but nothing I can't live without. The Men's room was dirty, stinky and had large sheets of wallpaper peeling from the walls. I still have another Groupon for this place somewhere in the car, if I end-up not using it I won't be disappointed. read more

Love this place, it's an authentic, local version of Chipotle, but they don't skimp on the toppings. They have 3 kinds of chicken, marinated pork, beef steak. Included for no extra charge, guacamole, chipotle cheese sauce, veggies, so many different salsas, cilantro. And a finished burrito is HUGE! And they are always so sweet and give us a little extra cup of pinto beans for the baby at no charge. Love this place. Everything is always so good! read more

After 10 minutes I got a notification from my driver saying they hadn't even put my order in and she has to re give it to them! They lost it.. ( after when I checked my total went from 19.00-23.00) So I patiently waited another 15 minutes. After receiving my food. Sloppy.. cold.. and wrong.. I ordered a chicken taco combo with cheese lettuce only and a steak taco combo with cilantro and onion and chips and salsa with sour cream on the side .. they gave me no onion hardly any specs of cilantro and gooooped sour cream all over my tacos !! After calling several times and finally getting them to answer he tells me he's sorry it's cause they lost my order so they made it wrong .. uhm? So I ask what he's going to do to fix it and he said he could refund me.. waited 10 minutes on the phone for him to tell me he can't find my order and that they are busy and he would call me back or I could call him back and he would give me a refund.. never received a call back or refund. The husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time today and it was great! It is definitely a hidden gem as another described. We both had bowls, one Carne Molida and one with Carne Asada ... I'd try something other than the Molida next time but the Carne Asada was delicious! Driving through from Chicago. Wanted something local and this did not disappoint. I wasn't sure what to expect but people kept streaming in the door. Similar to a Chipotle, but the food is much better. I had a burrito bowl with carne asada. The meat was very tasty. Also tried a chorizo taco. Yum. My only complaint is that the salsa was not flavorful and the chips were bland. I did find a homemade hot sauce on the counter which was exceptionally flavorful. This place had me torn. Its a locally owned Chipotle style place. The prices are average, nearly the same as Chipotle. Except the gauc, extra gauc here is only .40! The steak was seasoned well and came out fresh when i got there. The place was pretty dirty and line workers were unorganized, looked like they were slammed busy and didnt have staff to clean at all. The fried cheese stuffed quesadilla was frozen, terribly bland and served with watered down sour cream. They didnt have the bavarian churro I went for. Forget Chipotle, this place is way better. This taco/burrito bar is fast and good. Chipotle's sauces suck in comparison. I love to get the spicy sauce that they make themselves on all my items. There is just more flavor in everything and they are not stingy at all with the serving amounts of each ingredient you order. I like their salsa a lot to but it could use less onion or maybe they could slice them more thinly. I could have just been that batch. They have those helado bars there too which is also a plus. Make sure you leave a tip in the jar before you leave. This is my go to if I am craving fast Mexican food. read more
