The medium Steak/Chicken fajitas Nachos were awesome!!! Wish I could have added a Sangria but no liquor license. But that is okay the awesomeness of the dinner made up for it!! We started with chips and salsa. They offered two sauces to pick it up a few scoville. Perfect.

Saw reviews and decided to try this restaurant. It was really good! We had really great guacamole. It was fresh and you could taste the hint of lime. We got the barbacoa and carne asada tacos, Mexican style. Delicious! Barbacoa had great flavor and was tender. We ordered grilled jalapeños which were spicy yet delicious. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!

A fun little spot!! Service was prompt and very pleasant!! I had the carne asada, no onions. It was cooked excellent and could easily be ripped apart without cutting. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well. Excellent little spot! Definitely recommend!!

Accidentally ate my first taco before thi king about a picture. Left is Lengua, right is Chorizo, missing is Barbacoa.

I just finished eating here and had to write my review right away. I saw this little place as I was driving by and was very intrigued. It is so nice inside; quaint and remarkably clean. I ordered the Taco Special (2 tacos, rice and beans), an extra taco, and a glass bottle of Coke. I got the tacos "Mexican style" because...well, is there any other style?! (The difference is the tortilla, corn versus flour; it should be illegal to get flour in my opinion) Chorizo: so good! The chorizo was so tasty and a little lime and green salsa made for one heck of a taco! Barbacoa: holy moly it was like I was back in Veracruz! This isn't barbeque so don't be confused. The meat was cooked perfectly and packed full of flavor. Lengua: we used to get this all the time when we lived in Mexico but it can be risky here in the US. No risk here though! This was so amazing and cooked to perfection! The meat was so tender (not chewy) and the flavor exploded in my mouth. Coke is Coke but there is something about the glass bottle and paired with amazing tacos like these it is outstanding. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Delicious food and great service in a small family-owned restaurant. The ambiance is a little lacking, but the food tastes great.

It was very good...as good as any taco I have had from a truck or tacqueria in a city. The service was so so. The menu is only a full menu on the weekends apparently...theres no beans..no lengua and no barbacoa etc. Just tacos al pastor....steak....chicken or carnitas . Literally no one speaks english...and I speak terrible spanish so it takes a minute to get an order across....and the guy at carryout wasnt terribly interested in being helpful. Nice enough but too busy to be bothered much by a couple of anglos with no spanish skilz. The store had a good array of hard to find favorites...nopales and huitalocoche even. I will return for the tacos but would probably try to go at a less busy time so ordering was a littlw easier on everyone.

Our server, Angel was especially attentive. Do check out the cocktail menu. There are more fruit-forward sweet ones, but I enjoyed the herbal Skinny Cucumber Mezcelita with fresh cuke slices and lime. The unsalted tortilla chip appetizer might have been better had it been served fresh and warm. We thought we'd get guacamole with the appetizer, but received a variation on a salsa verde instead. My guy's chicken soft burrito was very large, lukewarm. The standout however was the German Goulash soup - served piping hot, seasoned and loaded with vegetable and meat bits. Yum! Its location is a plus. The staff maintains all public areas of the property, including restrooms, immaculately clean. We would have no problem returning.

Atypical from most Mexican restaurants, there was no chips and salsa for the table (which is one of my favorite things about Mexican restaurants), and the meal that I had had relatively little flavor. It was not bad, but just had no flavor. I'll perhaps go again and try something different, but it seems pretty vanilla for a Mexican restaurant.
