What an incredible inventory for a store so close to town. I came looking for seed and bone meals, ground rock minerals, lime, and such, for making Complete Organic Fertilizer. Friendly and super-efficient customer service was provided during both of my trips this week, and Star was especially helpful in the amendments area out back by the bales of straw. I used to go shopping for farm supplies at another store south of Oly, but no more. With a convenient location, friendly staff, and one of the best selections of stock anywhere, Eastside UF&G is my favorite new farm store. It's worth the drive from Seattle, or anywhere else in the Puget Sound region. I'll be back!

David offers a host of grasses and native plants to choose from. So bring your mud shoes and take a walk through all the greenhouses. Lots of options in terms of organic soil amendments and natural ways to control pests and weeds. The Garden Center is one of the first places to have onion starts available in the spring and their prices are competitive around town. They have seed racks on the walls of the small outbuilding that have so many different varieties. Definitely worth checking them out. During the spring they are constantly getting new things in all the time, so stop by to see what's new. Its not a big space but it is a wonderful space. Get in to the Westside. Grab a kombucha inside the store and come out to the Garden Center.
