Jen leads by example at Hardcore Fitness, and has built the most caring and supportive fitness environment I have ever experienced - from the trainers through the members. This is her family business and she makes all of her members and clients feel loved like family. I recently completed a 60- day fitness challenge at Hardcore, run by Jen. I gained strength and confidence, while losing inches off my body. My favorite part of the 60 day challenge was the supportive community of other participants. People their stories, struggles, wins, tips, and support for each other both online in our group video discussions, as well as as in person at the gym. The community really keeps you engaged and focused on your goals. This experience has given me better knowledge of what my bad habits weee doing to my body and what good habits I could foster for benefits I want. Even with that small snafu, I do have to say that Jacob went above and beyond, and went the extra mile. He gave me an intro class on kickboxing, which was really fun. We started out with a warmup, which was just adequate. We went into some basics, jabs, uppercuts, crosses, hooks, and then we started adding a bit of kicking into the process. He had me do a series of exercises in repetitions, and I have to say that I really sweat a lot from the workout. After that, Jacob and I talked about the program, the fees, and about the facilities and the different programs. The fact that you get different sign up options, and the fact that they are willing to work with you, in order to best suit your fitness needs. I have to say I was very happy with it. Although it was a bit more money than what I was expecting to pay, the more time I got to spend watching the Ju Jitsu class and the attention to detail and the way techniques are explained, just made a lot of sense. You can tell that there is a high level of professionalism, as well as a LOT of experience. They have a small rewards system, each class type has a progression system, and they take the time to make your feel comfortable in their facilities. The only thing I would have to say that I didn't appreciate about the experience is the website. It's very overwhelming, and not enough real information is provided. I don't want to click on a link and every page be linked to a video. But the actual experience when I was there, and my interactions with the staff, was really great.

They don't baby you here, you are in it for the long haul. All the classes are an hour and there are no breaks, so break when you feel you need to. The music is upbeat and fast! They have Sculpting, Boot Camp, and some great cardio classes. I go about two days a week and can't wait to see results. The kickboxing class is similar to the 24 hour fitness TKB class with a better instructor with crazy energy, better music, and the lighting was club - like. It was kind of dark. It was hard to hear so I got kind of lost with some of the moves. He does not use a mic! Kickboxing was straight cardio. Non-stop! I got a little tired towards the end because I haven't worked out in 3 weeks due to a cold, traveling and other holiday events. Thankfully I survived. This would be a perfect class for men to meet women because there were a ton of women and 1 other male student. I think this is a good class. I can't compare this to my boxing class because it's totally different. Personally I prefer the mitts and glove work versus kicking and punching the air. I like partner work. This class is good for individuals. If I were a resident of the area, I'd definitely pick this over the 24 hour fitness or cross fit.
