Went with a friend and had a great workout. The room was full, high energy, and high intensity. Great workout.

We went for a very much needed C2 class last night, and though it's a bit smaller than it's Westlake counterpart, it's got everything we could have needed.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I started coming in 2019, took a little break…read moreduring COVID, and then came back strong the summer of 2022. When I started I would take HPF classes because I liked the set sequence and intense heat. I've shifted over time and now take mostly C2 and Sculpt, occasionally a C3. However I could take any class and enjoy it. The teachers are great and the studios are well kept and spacious. I go everyday, unless I'm sick, and it is truly apart of my wellness routine. I feel grounded and stronger after every class; I go to 6am or 7am classes during the week before work. Some may say the price is a lot, but if you go often then it's really quite affordable. Some say it can get busy or crowded..but that just means people like it. It's really what you make of it. I've learned to adapt, practicing patience and kindness. It's helped me on and on off the mat. I appreciate this space.

Will just start by saying I've been a CPY-er for 8 years in 3 different cities and have loved it…read more But I wanna mention something that seems to have become a real issue in the last 6 months. The heat and, more so, the humidity are out of control in SO many classes these days (at several studios, not just WL). Even though there is a clear chart posted in each studio with the temps and percentages that each class level is to be set at, it seems like each instructor just does whatever they want, unfortunately. I'm ALL for the hot yoga, that's why I go to CPY, but please keep it at the standards that we pay for. Don't set the class to 105 degrees if it's supposed to be at 98 max in a C2, please. I was in a C2 yesterday and saw the tstat said 108. That's insane. I'm paying 200 bucks a month and I want to not be distracted from my workout and my zen by the fact that either I can't breathe or am feeling like I'm dying from how hot and humid you've made it in the room. Please don't crank it up just because one person asked you to, or because you want to. I want to leave feeling like I kicked ass in the correct amount of heat, not was tortured by it and had to leave early to escape it.

This allows all students to know that a class with peppers is going to nice and juicy. If you are a fan of hot yoga, you understand! There is also a large yoga room, with the best teachers who have been guiding thier students for many years, along with teaching all new postures, & helping us learn good form. There are some very strong women & men who want to see us students grow and develop our practice at WYC. Westlake Yoga co is a community that feels like a family. When you enter, you are greeted by smiling faces, welcoming you, and offering towels, yoga mats and whatever else a yogi needs to have their best experience. I love it there, and the hot room feels like my safe space, where I can go to flow, and really get into a deep place in my mind, allowing me to work through whatever I am going through that day. We also always remember to laugh and have some fun! The teachers are always professional and make 100% sure that all of the students are safe, prepared for what they are about the experience & always keep us hotties happy, by keeping the room hot, while fanning the door to let air in at the appropriate times. My life has changed for the better in that room and by practicing yoga & I hope that anyone who tries it has the same experience. Sometimes it is hard, and we push through as a community & that makes us all a little stronger! WYC offers a large variety of classes, including strength & mat Pilates, vinyasa flow classes, sound healing and educational classes & we always have fun!! Don't skip out on the magical sound classes, breathe work & educational classes that teach us more about yoga and our journey through life. The studio is beautiful, always clean, offers showers, and drinks to cool you off after class, along with a cool lavender towel, that all students get at the end of class to cover our eyes, during Savasana or just to lay over us and inhale the lovely smell of lavender. The teachers are all amazing, never just repeating words, but teaching with intention, care for thier students, and a true love for yoga. You get a physical work out, along with a mental detox, tools to help you through the hard times & you make some great friends along the way! Namaste

My wife is a SBNP'er and is extremely dedicated and diligent to their workouts... I would say that the establishment is 99% female considering the nature of the workout and the environment... If you are a dude there and want to take a class, they are very protective and professional, as they want to make it a safe space for women to be able to work out in peace without harassment. When I took a class there, I was there to support my wife Aimee, so they knew my intention... The instructors (barre-istas) are really what make the experience fun and unique- whether it is the owner Super Cindi (with her infectious energy and positive promotional abilities), Amazing Addie (who really pushes to your linits and beyond!), Glorious Gloria with her very positive encouragement and direction, or Precious Paulina with her soothing, yet strong voice; all of the instructors will make you truly "feel the burn"... SBNP also offers a beautiful boutique section of workout clothes and other great gift ideas for the people in your life that work out.. I am so elated and excited that my much better half has discovered SBNP, as they truly are an amazing group of people with the goal of promoting health and fitness in a dynamic and exciting environment... For more information, they are very active on social media and are always open to answering your questions...
