He offers one-on-one sessions and group classes, and it's included with the membership. He goes above and beyond and genuinely cares about his clients. He's always positive, motivating, and helpful. This is a great gym! Price is reasonable and equipment is up to date. It's very clean too. Only complaint is that they play Fox News all the time, which can't be changed unless the general manager approves it (and they're not on site). Kinda contradictory to the idea of going to the gym to improve our mental health and all, and feels tasteless considering the current climate. Planet Fitness - Thousand Oaks (North Ranch) I've been extremely disappointed with the cleanliness standards at this location. On 11/23, I used the women's restroom, specifically the large handicap-accessible stall, and noticed visible fecal stains on the toilet. I assumed it would be cleaned promptly. However, I returned multiple times throughout that same week and noticed that the exact same stall was never cleaned, despite seeing several female employees working the front desk. I finally reported the issue to a night-shift male employee, who said he would take note of it. Today is 12/16, nearly three weeks later, and when I used the same exact stall, the same fecal stains were still there. Toilet paper had clearly been refilled during this time, which tells me the restroom is being serviced--but basic sanitation is being completely ignored. Leaving human waste uncleaned for weeks is unacceptable and a serious health and hygiene concern. Management clearly needs to be informed, and I am strongly considering reporting this to Planet Fitness corporate, as this shows a complete lack of proper cleaning protocols. Planet Fitness promotes a "clean and welcoming" environment--this location is not meeting that standard at all. read more

Best planet fitness in Ventura County. I've tried them all. This planet fitness location has the best most thought out layout super open never feels too crowded. The cable machines have so many stations that make it so much nicer than other locations. There's no 30 minute workout room instead you use the machines marked with a yellow coating throughout the gym, which is a huge bonus because I always felt in other planet fitness is the 30 minute room was a waste of machines that could be used when it got crowded. Just wanna shout out that whoever designed this location did a great job and very impressed and the fact that they're open 24 seven is a huge bonus highly recommend this location. Only negative I could say is just like any gym they do sometimes run out of toilet seat covers, paper towels, etc. but this is to be expected. I would hope that the employees would check them a bit more often. I have had nothing but good experiences when interacting the employees. - except for the short Caucasian young girl that wears the glasses. She came off a bit rude and brash when she stated that I had to give her something up for collateral If I wanted to use an ankle strap for my workout from the front desk, I was a bit taken aback by that because in other locations, you just write your name down on a sheet to use equipment like ankle strap or bar pad from front desk. I said I only have my water and cell phone. She's like you can give me your cell phone cover as collateral. And I was thinking to myself that's a little ridiculous. I hope that they speak to her about this and interacting with guess who need to borrow equipment to perform exercises. Maybe this gym location can implement what other PF gyms do and have people write their name down, but I don't think having to handle over something important to you when most people don't bring much into the gym is a very respectful practice. 4/5 Four out of five stars - would give five stars if they stayed consistently stocked on toilet paper paper towel covers and paper towels throughout the gym and the front office was not so rude about using complimentary gym accessories from front desk. - if I notice things improve or decline, I will update my rating. read more

Really enjoy working out at PF TO. Friendly staff when entering and leaving. I belong to 24hr Fitness also, but they're not open 24 hrs any longer. PF is located in a nice area, equipment is kept clean by those of us working out, clean locker room and shower(I can only speak of the Men's side:) , plenty of machines, dumbbells and Smith machines (No squat racks w/bumper plates), people are friendly and I love to workout here. Hey Planet Fitness. Overall it's been a great experience. But I will tell you some of your employees don't do much as they chat behind the counter. You're out of paper towels at two locations in this gym and the women's room is out of soap. When machines go down, as they did earlier this week, signs are not put on the machine to let people know. I've done several workouts at various PF around LA and I've never seen one that has such lax policy for member's privacy. When 3 men set up a tripod in the center of the gym to record their workout I felt uncomfortable since I was in the background. When I spoke to the lead member she said that they need more people to complain before they can say something. This kinda sucks as a paying member because I was under the impression that all members must comply with PF's Mobile Device Use Policy and no where did I read that you need 3 people to complain before action can be taken. read more

I give this gym 5 stars. I have been a member now for over a week and this gym is amazing. It started with the wonderful employees at the front desk. Kat was the employee at the front desk at the time I signed up. Her smile was infectious, and she had such a wonderful way of greeting me. She answered all my questions that I had asked her about joining the gym and she took her time to show me the steps on how to sign up. She gave me a tour and she really took her time with me.
