My wife needed emergency surgery on an infected tooth & was referred to Dr. Pulver. From day one of the consultation to next day surgery on 3 teeth, he and his nurses were excellent with their bedside manner, level of professionalism exceeded our expectations and he is a great dental surgeon! Also we were expecting to pay both arms & both legs for the procedure but it was reasonably priced especially to be put under anesthesia. My wife delayed all dental treatment until she was in excruciating pain because she is absolutely terrified of dental work! I paid the 4 grand for a tooth removal and an implant placement. 6 weeks later my implant fell out. I came in for my appointment to fix it and no one knew or remembered I made the appointment. During the appointment he was extremely rough and so impatient and it was so painful I almost passed out. They had to stop, put my feet above my head, put a wet towel on my head, and give me oxygen. He told me since it was so difficult he would give me anesthesia the next time as now I had to have a bone graft. I went to make the appointment for the bone graft and no one had any idea that he told me he would use anesthesia. He was 10 feet away and they refused to confirm what he told me. So I didn't make the appointment. Thought I'm never coming back here. Years later he is now suing me for almost $1,000. The only bill I got was for $760 and said "no details for Anne crossin" I don't know what I owe for and now have to go to court. If it's for the procedure to fix the procedure that he didn't do well enough, then they should have told me I would have to pay for it. read more

I did hear from Dr. Pulver's office but it wasn't thanks to the answering service. I called the office directly and spoke with Selena. Unfortunately, the doctor doesn't work with the type of jaw problem I have but they were kind enough to refer me to another surgeon. Not only that, they called back a week later to see if I was able to reach that surgeon. This is the first time I've ever had a doctor's office who *could not* help me follow up to see if I was able get help elsewhere. Selena also asked me to please follow up with her after I do see the other surgeon to let them know how it went. I appreciate their help even if Dr. Pulver couldn't help me personally. SUMMARIZED INFORMATION FROM MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: Dr. Pulver's website has a chat option with a third party company to schedule appointments and obtain preliminary information. Unfortunately, after repeated attempts to make an appointment (and find out insurance information), they dropped the ball and never contacted me back, even weeks later. Dr. Pulver would constantly remind me of his 30 years experience whenever I had an appointment with him, which were many. Although I trusted him at the time, he proved to me he needs to upgrade his dental skills and repeatedly disappointed me and was quite insulting too. He was very hard to work with and I would get stressed dealing with him. Fortunately, I left and went to a more experienced dentist who is continually advancing his education in dental implants to get my my dental work completed. There is a reason this business gets 5 stars. Too bad we can't go higher. The staff is exceptional, as is Dr. Pulver. All are personable. While they caution you that they can't 100% guarantee you will not contract Covid-19, they take all the precautions you could possible ask for. Air is completely replaced in the room every few minutes, and that's just a start of their very professional precautions. I am high risk for Covid-19, but I felt very comfortable being sedated for removal of a molar. Not only that, but when the procedure was over, there was VERY close to no pain whatsoever. This procedure was done yesterday, and there is still no pain. But I followed their directions, which is important. EDIT: For whatever reason, I come up as living in California. My 96 year old mother is in assisted living. Recently, when eating, she was experiencing tooth pain. My first son had such a good experience that his brother waited to schedule his extractions for when he going to be in from California. Dr. Pulver is very thorough and professional. He takes him time to explain everything and invites questions. He has a way of putting everyone at ease. Both of my sons had an amazingly good experience with no pain almost NO swelling. They were both feeling well right away and they were able to eat (they did follow instructions to be careful) The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they were accommodating when it came to scheduling, The office is nicely designed and the location and parking were also very convenient. Started when I had an issue where my dentist wanted me to see an oral surgeon due to bone protruding from my lower gum, Dr Pulver got me in the same day. My sister got 4 wisdom teeth extractions today. The front desk girls were very friendly and attentive. The Dr.'s assist/manager was also very attentive and knowledgeable, she made us feel welcomed and explained everything in great detail. Do not recommend!!! They flip flop prices. I was told the consultation was free which is standard in the industry. Then I was told to get a copy of my x rays to save 350 dollars because I am paying out of pocket. I asked for the last appointment time because I work 60 hour weeks. The lady gave me a 4pm consultation after I emailed my X-rays. The office then emails me to change my time to 3. I just received a conformation call from the office they told me I had no choice for X-rays which could be free and pay $115 for a free consultation. The lady wouldn't answer any of my questions. She was very unprofessional and rude. I already took leave off of work for this $115/free consultation. Is the point of the consolation to talk to the doctor to get a price estimate and plan of action? I had no choice to spend money or not....the lady on the phone said " I have to cancel your appointment if you don't want X-rays" STAY AWAY. Better doctors in the area. read more

Dr. Pulver and his staff were excellent!! My son needed his impacted wisdom teeth extracted. I went to Dr. Pulver for a 2nd opinion after another oral surgeon told us he wouldn't touch my son's lower wisdom teeth because they were too close to the nerve. I was not satisfied with this evaluation or this doctor's use of anesthesia. I had a bad feeling about it so I was referred to Dr. Pulver and he did an amazing job with my son AND extracted his lower wisdom teeth with no problem!! I work as an RN in surgery so a little knowledge can be a disadvantage but my worries and concerns were put to ease as soon as I walked into his office!! I had such a good experience here getting my wisdom teeth removed. I got four teeth removed and two were impacted (sideways). The staff was calm and friendly, the doctor was comforting and courteous. I had basically no pain and I was able to eat what I wanted by the second day! He did such a precise job that I didn't even need any pain killers! I would definitely recommend this doctor!
