Employees are nice especially for the meet and greet of a sports star. In this case, it was Breanna Stewart. It was very organized and the fans were patient. Didn't get a chance to check the store due to the limited time though will definitely come back and check the store next time.

I have become a fan of Puma of late considering they've taken over the rights to design and make my favourite team, Manchester City's jerseys for the next ten years or so, so of course I had to visit their large, modern and cool location on Fifth Avenue, which stands out with the huge Puma for their flagship NYC location by the Rockefeller Center. The store opened just a couple of months ago towards the end of August 2019. I did find the store to be a little understaffed and more dedicated to the "Running" market, which was a shame as it was a large store and although they seemed to stock a good range of Puma products and claim to have selection of "the full range of PUMA products including lifestyle, basketball, motorsport, golf, performance, association football and kids.", I still feel it was too dedicated towards the performance/running market without too much on the association football and regular wear/lifestyle for example. A pretty cool store and a nice new addition to NYC's Fifth Avenue - perhaps the store looks better than it actually is, but still, it's worth checking out despite the need for improvements which I hope are only issues with it being a new store as my visit came just under two months after they opened. 3*

The new Puma flagship store is a huge cube. The two high ceiling floors are equal to a four story building. The store if filled with not just Puma footwear, but fashion apparel and accessories. There is also a customization area where you can personalize your purchases. And similar to the Nike store a Technology Lab. When you first step in you will be welcome in front by a 10 foot red sneaker. Since the store is on the corner across from Saks Fifth Avenue and Rockefeller Center I expect it to be a big tourist photo op.

Oh sad, I went with my friend to get a photo op with the big red sneaker I saw another Yelp friend post but it was gone, sadly I turned around and left the store without buying anything. Now I have to find another big sneaker, Nike ? Adidas ? maybe Timberland has a big boot ?

The customer service was outstanding. They took the time to create small talk and carefully explain the features of the shoe for my daughter. They made spending the funds a pleasure. My daughter was wearing shoes that were not designed for the amount of walking she was undertaking and they extended us option with pros and cons plus confessional stories to accompany. So glad we walked into the establishment.

The soft-spoken latino/hispanic guy who works at the mens floor is so handsome and friendly. I think I'm in love with him.

He was patient as I tried on every pair, slipping off insoles to insert my custom orthopedics for an accurate fit. When I arrived a nice lady at the front let me know I'd have to wait to see someone to try on shoes. I ended up waiting 15 minutes before someone was able to see me with no one else in front of me. The man that came over then just immediately asked what shoes do I want to try on. I mentioned that I really liked the Triumph 21s and was looking for a better replacement since the newer versions all had too much cushion for me. He then started to get aggressive when I told him 3 shoes I was interested in for no reason and was getting upset that I didn't know the exact names off the top of my head and had to pull my phone out to check. He then said alright if you don't need my help then just tell me what you want after I told him I wasn't interested in trying on the new Triumph shoes that came out. I told him no... I wanted his input just not those shoes as they have a ton of cushion. He then got me two pairs of shoes, dropped them off, and then left to see other customers without checking in on me after that. I had to wave down another staff member to ask what other colorways were available. I then saw this same worker getting upset at a fellow colleague for helping another customer out that was asking for assistance. He was upset and didn't say why and just walked away pissed off again. I didn't want to give this place my business after seeing how this employee treated me and other members of the staff so I left and bought my shoes elsewhere. This is store is a great place to try on running shoes but apparently just SUPER hit or miss on who gets assigned to help you out. 2 stars for the nice woman and letting me try on at least some of the shoes I was interested in.

I was looking for mask inserts and saw Athleta sells them online. I thought I would stop in and see if I could purchase them in the store. After making this my mission today I decided to exhaust all my possibilities before going to Athleta. I tried CVS, Duane Reade, Rite Aid, Target, and Kings Pharmacy and none of these places carries them. Take my advice and go to Athleta. I entered and was immediately welcomed by a friendly associate. By this time I was exhausted so I cut to the chase telling her why I was there. She said they don't have them in store any longer but she would look online. She said if they're available she would order them for me and I would save the shipping charge. I went ahead and ordered two packages of 10 mask filters each package. With tax my total was $8.69. She said I would receive an email and my credit card would be charged. I was told it's two day delivery. I was amazed. After I arrived home I had the email about my order. At this point I'll be happy when they arrive. If anything goes wrong it will not be the fault of this sales associate or this beautiful Athleta location. I'm hoping they stay open in my neighborhood for years to come. To be continued......

I love the convenient location and layout (great website, too but may be iffy to order from depending on other reviews). The merchandising makes so much sense; it's visually pleasing. The 2 staff members were informative, fun to chat with, and helpful especially with fixing a jammed slot in the print machine. Sizes run large as my Small was suuuper oversized -- that's on me tho bc the gentleman I was speaking with offered to me to try it on before purchasing.
