I have shopped there for years and have only seen the soda machine down once. Also the supply chain is still a factor for stores not always having products on hand. I make my own soft pretzels at home. As far as self check out goes, Sam's in Grand Island still has half the check outs run my employees. You don't have to self check if you don't want to. My biggest issue with Sam's is that the people that shop there can be very rude. They stand in the aisles and won't let you through. They let their kids run rampant screaming. Kind of funny. They must be the same people that wrote the other reviews. Sam's in GI is okay. If you know what things cost, you can get a bargain.

I didn't find much and before coming here. A few allocated bottles at secondary that i could find closer to home (as was expected) and one interesting Nebraska bourbon. But a quick internet search led me here . . . . and it did not disapoint. What an unecpectedly great selection. In fact I stopped by here twice to pick up another bottle i hesitated on the first time. Plus the had a bar area where you could try most of their store picks amongst other harder to find bottles. I ended up purchasing 3 bottles but would have bought more if i hadn't flown here. Next time I drive I'll definately be stopping again.

I just moved to the area with a fairly new model of foreign car and needed my oil changed. When I arrived for my appointment today, the place was small with no real waiting area but I was able to get serviced right away. All the parts needed to change my oil had been delivered and I was able to watch them do the whole oil change right there. They even filled my washer fluid and checked and filled my tires. If you have a foreign vehicle that needs to be serviced, I would recommend Rod's and Rides.

They had lots of great snack items to choose from and clean restrooms. The charging stations were easy to access and they had plenty. There were other EV drivers using them so it was fun chatting with them too.
