Holy cow what a luxury it was and what special memories we created because of them. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sarah Albourn and Rebecca Kopperud from LaBoum events. When I reached out to Rebecca, who owns LaBoum, she helped me figure out what kind of service would best fit our 150 guest, Palmer, AK wedding planning needs. We decided on the 'day of coordination' services and were assigned Sarah Albourn who did nothing short of completely blow us out of the water. She was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We met a few times to talk (at length) about our wedding expectations over coffee and she so patiently helped us develop the perfect timeline for our special day. Having a wedding planning professional just a text or phone call away was priceless. She helped with so many aspects of our day from the smallest details to the big 'oh god help me' moments. She ran our rehearsal the day before the wedding seamlessly and kept us and all of our vendors on track on our wedding day. I legitimately don't know how we could have done it without her. It was so special to not have our closest loved ones running around in circles and instead we could all relax and really enjoy the moment because Sarah had us all taken care of. I once called Andrew (the owner) and asked if there was any way he could deliver 500 filled up baloons to a funeral that we were doing a balloon release at the next day and with no hesitation, he agreed and his team showed up right on time with all of the balloons. The way he runs his business and team is amazing, as he's one of the most efficient people I've ever met. He has been in the business long enough that he can offer up suggestions on your event if you'd like, or he can find a way to do almost anything you need him to do. I brought in two large number balloons from two separate packages to have them filled with helium…read more While filling the first one, the employee told me it might be defective because there seemed to be a small leak, although she couldn't find where it was coming from. She made it sound like it should still hold up until the party later that day, so I left with it. Unfortunately, within just a few hours it was noticeably deflated and looked ridiculous--and the second balloon did the exact same thing. Since these were two completely separate balloons from separate packages, it seems pretty unlikely that both just happened to be defective. I spent about $25 just to have the two balloons filled with helium, only for both to lose their helium before the party. The huge, partially deflated numbers looked miserable in the party decorations, and it was especially disappointing for the birthday child. What bothered me most was that I wasn't offered any solution before leaving, even though it was already known that at least one of the balloons was leaking. I spent more than $45 in the store altogether that day and essentially wasted the money I paid for the helium. Very disappointing experience. Wish I had taken a photo of the miserable balloons but they went straight in the trash following the party ending. What a waste. I'll try Michael's next time for helium, probably cheaper there too. I also noticed how the employee helping me isn't very friendly. I've been in here a few times before over the years and never felt like this. I don't know if this woman is new, but she doesn't represent the company well for customer service.

They designed and mailed all of our invitations. Darl spent hours reading our logo requirements so that everything was perfect. The day of the event the team worked seamlessly to set up around our office without interrupting our morning meetings. Darl then spent the evening greeting our guests and directing them to the food and beverages. Once the event was over, his team cleaned everything and put all the furniture back where it belonged. If it weren't for all the flower arrangements that our florist is letting us keep, you would never know we even had an event the night before!
