3 of us had lunch around noon, plenty of seating available…read more FOOD: Very good, fresh. The fish and chips were flaky, fries crispy and the cole slaw is savory. The seafood casserole was decadent with plenty of scallops and shrimp. SERVICE: Nina was excellent. Ensured we had everything we needed, patient with an elderly party member and took photos which came out really nice! BAR: The Bloody Mary had just the right amount of mix and alcohol and was loaded with fresh garnish - 3 jumbo olives, a shrimp and lemon and lime wedges. ATMOSPHERE: It was chilly as we arrived (March), warmed up a bit as more patrons entered. Of course, it does have the aroma of a fish restaurant. Parking is in the back, the entrance is before the restaurant. We missed it the first time around as the parking sandwich board sign was behind the white picket fence. A little inconvenient as we had to then go all the way around the center for a second time. I suspect if the sidewalk was shoveled, the sign would be out there and more visible. There is a parking sign with an arrow on the building, but it is in front of the restaurant walkway entrance, so by the time you see it you likely passed the parking lot entrance.

But it looked busy, and from the street, the vibe inside was so welcoming. So I gave it a shot. And holy hell am I glad I did. I'm not sure what knitwits have been giving this place low ratings. But trust me here, this place is a little gem. Notably friendly service presence from the time I walked in the door, excellent wait staff, the crowd of patrons was pretty much smiling from ear to ear, warm, happy, and jovial. The wine and beer menu was inclusive to the point of exhaustive. Took me a while to pick among the excellent options. Didn't even try the cocktails, but they seem to know what they're doing back there. I was dining solo, so I only ordered one thing this time. I've tried a lot of lobster rolls over the years, and this one ranks right up there among the very best of them. If you like mayonnaise more than lobster, this isn't your place. The food was crafted to perfection. Just the right blend in the lobster roll. Likewise with the coleslaw. Not overly sauced, perfectly prepared. Sweet potato fries were delightfully crispy on the outside yet not overcooked. If they would let me give this place six stars, I would. Enjoy!

We were welcomed at the door, attended to promptly, and checked on by several members of the staff. The experience was so delightful and unexpected nowadays that we can't wait to go back. I can best describe IV Seasons as a cozy, popular, neighborhood tavern which serves delicious…read morePortuguese style food. It's casual and friendly. The menu is not huge, but it has enough for you to be satisfied. Beverages include beer and soft drinks, a small selection of wines, many of which are Portuguese, and sangria, red and white. Note that the prices of the wines and the sangria are not on the menu. We ordered the red sangria, which comes by the glass, and if I recall is approximately $9.45/glass. It's delicious and quite strong. Our appetizer was the cod cakes, which could just as easily be described as "cod cake tots" due to their size, but they're also priced "tot size" at $1.75 each. The Portuguese style meals are typically chicken, beef, or various types of seafood, generally served with a tomato based sauce with onions and peppers, on your choice of pasta or rice. Potatoes will also come with some meals. Our dinners came out VERY quickly, just about the time we were finished with the codfish tots. Dinner plus the appetizer and sangria came to about $45 each adding tax and tip, a reasonable amount for the quality of the food and atmosphere.
