They communicated that they were sorry through the bartender Mark. I've been in the business for over 30+ years and always went over to a guests' table and personally apologized and made it right. Also. if a dish was broken and you know that a piece has broken off, why wouldn't you throw all of that food out and make the pan again to make sure there were no other pieces of plate in the pan? I guarantee the kitchen staff did not do that and to give us a lousy $10 gift card was an insult. We also had an appetizer that came out AFTER the meal and we were charged for that even though we told them that we no longer wanted it.
