Not only do they offer board, but are open for grooming on Sundays. Picking up a clean and happy dog is the perfect ending to a boarding. Our sitter was Michelle and she took the time to get to know our cats during the meet and greet. Having younger kitten, we opted for the 40 minute daily visits to ensure some playtime. Michelle sent us a daily recap and pictures to make sure we knew our girls were in good hands. She also grabbed our mail and a package that was delivered while we were gone. My puppy was nervous on day one but now she loves going in and the staff worked with her so she could have play friends. It was a couple of days before they had her introduced and they did it safely. Late review since we just learned they changed management a while back…read more We thought this was a good daycare for our dog after a few trial days so we bought a package, but upon first day of the package they said our dog wasn't getting along with another dog (so what happened the first 2 days?) --so we took her out. I guess they let all 30 dogs go out to play at the same time with no separation of bigger /smaller dogs. I asked to transfer the package to my 2nd dog who was a puppy and not neutered yet and was waiting until they were 2 years as recommended, - they said it's fine and I can use it whenever...but when new management took over they didn't notify us through email or anything that packages expire. So now we just wasted a few hundred for nothing because they won't honor it. Crappy new management who won't work with their customer- you could have earned more money in the future if you actually tried to meet in the middle with a solution. They wanted me to buy more services- NO THANKS.

I regularly used all of their services: daycare, hotel, and grooming for my dog and I can't tell you how happy he was every time we'd get there. He'd walk right in the door with no hesitation at all and made friends, both human and canine. I owe them so much for taking such good care of my little man. I will forever be grateful.

This place is ADORABLE, and is so homey and comfy!…read more Thank goodness for Southwest Michigan's Superbook, because without their awesome coupons, I never would have found the Crate Escape (buy one, get one free day of doggy daycare)! Their main room has rugs, chairs, and sofas for the dogs to lounge and rest on, as well as plenty of room for them to socialize. We boarded our Coraline there for a few nights once, and periodically bring her in for a day of daycare. For overnight boarding, they have private areas for dogs that range in amenities. Some will have their very own personal seating area, and bed, or there are also crates for them to sleep in if they need that. Coraline LOVES this place. As soon as I let her out of the car, she starts lunging for their front door. When she gets home from a day of daycare, she goes off to a quiet corner to nap right away, which I take to be a good sign because hopefully, that means that she wore herself out having fun with her little furry friends there! We've been to other places in town, but like this one the most because it always feels so warm and inviting. Two warnings: 1) They require reservations for day care and boarding. We were told the last time we dropped her off that they wouldn't take our dog for daycare again unless we called ahead of time (obviously, we didn't know about the reservations-only policy because no one ever told us about one before then), and 2) it's CASH ONLY, which is a pain because I seldom have cash on me. Luckily, there's an ATM at the Walgreens down the street. (The website doesn't list much information, AT ALL, so call, or stop by to grab some informational sheets from them.)
