TL;DR: This groomer is a total gem. Gentle, professional, responsive, and the only one my anxious dog actually loves. I'd never take her anywhere else. Let me paint the picture. It's 5 AM. My nervous, anxiety-prone dog (who is on Prozac and usually trembles just getting in the car) just got sprayed in the face by a skunk. We'd only just been to this groomer one week ago for her first visit ever -- which, by the way, was a miracle in itself. My dog left that appointment happy, calm, and even ran back to say goodbye to the groomer instead of bolting to me with her tail tucked like she usually does. That told me everything I needed to know. So back to this morning. Total disaster. I texted the groomer at 6 AM on a Saturday, hoping for a miracle. She responded before 7:30 and got us in as her first appointment of the day. When we pulled up, even though my dog was still stressed from the skunk incident, the moment she realized where we were, her tail started wagging and she walked right in like she was seeing an old friend. Less than two hours later, my sweet girl was back to me smelling fresh and clean, tail still wagging. As a fellow small business owner, I know what it means to go above and beyond. Answering early morning texts, squeezing in an emergency, making someone else's bad day a little easier -- and this groomer truly does it all. And the biggest win? My dog feels safe here. We have two small dogs, poodle/cocker spaniel type mutts. One of them is very anxious and the other one is a straight-up a-hole. I drive about 20 minutes, past at least 10 other groomers in town, to get to Danielle. She and her staff are kind and attentive, and they give a cute doggie hairdo. They are able to manage my neurotic dogs without traumatizing them, and I'll spend a lot of time in the car for that. read more

My dog is a terrier mix and has been groomed 4 times and had never had issue . I looking for someone in my area to do his grooming since I recently moved to San Marcos and was shocked at what terrible experience I had at this groomers. The service was very unprofessional and my dog was there for almost 4 hours they told me it was initially $80 and then after I picked him up he was not groomed he had just gotten a bath and I still had to pay the same amount which was something that I have never had happen. He was not himself while there the environment was not the cleanest and will not recommend. read more

I don't recommend this place because they raise their prices every time you go there. First time $80. Second time $85, Third time $100. They don't tell you the price until you pick up your dog. Never give you a receipt either. You tell the office girl how you want your dog's haircut and obviously the word doesn't get to the actual groomer. I have two large (ridiculously fluffy) rag doll cats. In their old age, they've stopped grooming themselves as much, and despite brushing them, it's resulted in some matting. I decided to bring them in for a bath and de-shedding, and I cannot express in words how grateful I am for the results achieved. After getting the cats home, they were visibly happier and rolling around in their blankets, allowing me to rub their newly shaved bellies, and purring up a storm. Danielle and Kevin were amazing with both cats. They were incredibly gentle, conscious of what a stressful event it could be for the cats, and therefore fast! Both cats were done in only an hour! Their fur is clean and soft and so much healthier! If you are considering bringing your cats in for grooming, allow Danielle the opportunity to take the lead. We dropped both our Persian kitty and pup off on the same day we called for an appointment. They were totally able to squeeze us in and told us the best time to groom kitties for that day.
