Carol's (via an administrator named "Fran") was furnished with full contact information for my friend, the owner, whom they knew to reach out to, for signoff on any/all decisions. Horrifically, they made no effort to contact her. They then cut communications with my friend, the owner, and have reregistered her chip to an unknown person without her signature. Someone at Carol's has also written to more than one individual, threatening to DUMP her at the shelter. Michael, the owner of Carol's, never answers calls, his phone doesn't accept messages, and my friend is understandably now terrified. Who would do this to a beloved pet and their human family? For an organization which CLAIMS to be a charity and care for the welfare of animals, Carol's is the exact opposite.

She took the time to ask me exactly what I wanted and also gave helpful suggestions based on her expertise. You can tell she really cares about both the pets and their owners. Her shop smells amazing and is extremely clean, which is so important to me. I also loved that there were no cages--only play pens--creating a calm, safe, and welcoming environment. Her crew truly feels like family. Everyone there was so loving, gentle, and attentive. You can feel the positive energy the moment you walk in. I'm new to the neighborhood and always get nervous leaving my fur baby anywhere, but Ms. Lori completely put me at ease. I also love that she doesn't have dogs sitting around for hours waiting--everything feels intentional and well-managed. And the results... AMAZING! My fur baby looked absolutely perfect. She was very sweet and all of her staff was as well. Chip immediately took to her so that made me feel extremely comfortable. He's always so nervous getting groomed, but this time, I didn't feel like we had to worry. We didn't give her a whole lot of context about how we wanted him to be groomed and she NAILED it! Wow! She was lighting speed, he was literally done in about 45 minutes (which is terrific bc this little guy gets anxious typically, but I don't feel like he would be there!). We have had our dog for 9 years and he's been groomed by a variety of places. He has NEVER walked out of a place smelling so clean and fresh EVER! My bad, these things happen, I must have called the wrong Soapy Dogs in Huntington Station, ny. I thanked her and left. To my surprise, it was in fact the same place I called on Tuesday.
