We had to go to the Savers donation center to drop off a lot of books, and I needed dog food. It…read morewas 6 pm, and they were closing, but a very nice young man behind the counter said if could get what I needed in two minutes, it was fine. So we raced to aisle 4, grabbed a bag of Science Diet, and paid for it. Another very nice young man checked us out. I asked if they had tadpoles. They don't, but they have dwarf frogs! So I will be returning. I need frogs to eat the bugs that bite me. I have a tiny pond. It appears to be a large and well-stocked store. I didn't have time to take pix. Prices for dog food are basically the same as PetSmart or Petco. I'm sorry that we got there at closing time, but those young men were very gracious. As I really needed the dog food, I'm especially appreciative. They could have just said, "Nope, sorry, closed, tough noogies." But they didn't. Looking forward to returning for frogs and maybe fish!

I went back in the store on Sunday to take some more bags back to recycle and was received by a kid who clearly wanted nothing to do with helping me.. I ask him where the recycle bin was as it was nowhere to be found, at first I don't think he had any clue what I was talking about and then he said oh they must've moved it... so I said well I have bags to return, can we find out where it is? Oh I don't know. I said it was here last week, he said "do you want to throw them out?" Well, obviously, I wouldn't be here to do my part to recycle If I wanted to throw them out -the point of recycling is to keep the bags out of a landfill..... Why would I want to throw them in the garbage? Certainly not because your employee is too lazy to find out where the recycle bin went.. I then proceeded to tell him I was just here a week ago and it was here then he says I don't know what to tell you. He had absolutely no intentions of even trying to find out what the bin is or where it might have gone to his only interest was do you want to throw them in the garbage. I can honestly say that the professional level of employees working at the store has gone severely downhill in the last year and a half; one time I walked in, and there was absolutely not a single soul anywhere; nobody at the counters, so I walked up and down the aisles -nobody in the aisles....I waited around for a few minutes and nobody came out to help. Finally, I ended up shouting in the middle of your store "HELLO!!!!" Which I had to do multiple times btw, and finally 2 boys came out from the back of the store. It's truly sad that I physically shout to get somebody to help me, or even acknowledge that I was in the store- if I was a thief I could've stole half the stock and just walked out the door with it. As I said a year and a half ago there were fantastic employees here; it seems like either they quit or were let go (I don't know what the situation is) but they knew what they were doing and now the store is just staffed with young kids who don't give a damn and have no intentions of doing anything to go out of their way to help you, and if you do find someone to help you, they have no clue what you're even talking about and they have no intentions on trying to figure out. This is extremely sad because it was such a terrific Store and it has gone severely downhill since it opened.

Two of them cut my dogs hair way shorter than I asked, and the third one basically didn't cut anything. Based on that, I started driving 30 miles to my prior groomer just to get an acceptable haircut. After about a year of doing that the groomer I had used for years retired. Now I had to find a new groomer. Based on some of the reviews I read, I decided to visit Puppy Kuts. I went in, without my dog with me and discussed with them what I needed done. I showed them pictures; both good and bad. After discussing the kind of look, I was going for with my dog. I felt confident enough to book an appointment. That was approximately a year ago. Since that time I have been using them exclusively. They listened to my request and have always been able to properly groom Bailey. I'm definitely pleased with the results. Dr. Armfield was very thorough with explaining the next steps for my furry family and I was able to have all my concerns addressed. Her staff were very gentle with my pups and cat, they were so at ease when being handled. I believe our furry family have great intuition for human kindness and they did not put up any resistance during the whole visit. Needless to say, the 1 hour plus drive was totally worth it!
