The last straw came down today when I went to pick my dogs up and she had both my 40-pound Australian Shepard and my 15-pound Shih Tzu crammed into one cage together so small that they were on top of each other and could not move. This is not the first time that my dogs have been mishandled at this shop. My Australian Shepard has been repeatedly burned with the razor on his underside. The last time it happened it became infected, and I had to take him to the vet for antibiotics. Adding to the frustration, the owner is the most unfriendly person I have met in a long time. I cannot recall a single instance where she even said hello or smiled. What is even more disheartening is that she never once said thank you. When you drop your dogs off the only thing she says to you is "Same as usual?" This phrase suggests that there is at least some consistency with her service - but that couldn't be further from the truth. I have lost count of the number of times that she completely shaved off my Shih Tzu's mustache, and when I bring it to her attention, she doesn't even bother to apologize. Reading through her other reviews on Google I suspect that most of the reviews for this shop are from friends. I noticed one was actually from her daughter, who also works there. I would be leery if you rely on reviews to try this one out. Having entrusted eight dogs to different groomers over the past 25 years, I strongly recommend exploring other options. Find one that you can communicate with and that doesn't get mad at you for telling them how you want your dog groomed.
