I was on the lookout for a new dog groomer for my 10 year old schnauzer, Simon. [Hold for applause] I was disappointed with my last pet grooming experience and was looking for an established, reliable, and affordable option that I could trust. As an admitted helicopter dog dad, being able to trust the pet groomer to whom I'm going to leave my boy is paramount. When I found Bath House Pet Grooming & Spa online I was hopeful. After my first experience there I am overjoyed to have found it! Making the appointment was easy. The lovely lady worked with my schedule and was clear in the drop off times and how things work with the first appointment. So, when the day came Simon and I piled into the car - Simon is a terrible driver, FYI - and made the 30 minute drive to the Beaches. One wrinkle that I was not aware of was but later very much appreciative of was that they only admit one dog into their business at a time. It allows them to keep order, eliminate unauthorized escapes and to make sure there aren't any skirmishes between doggos. [and yes, there was a clearly marked sign I missed] Once it was our turn we were greeted by a lovely young lady who took our information, checked our vaccination documents - Simon's were good but mine are out of date - and asked how I wanted Simon cut. I showed her a picture and she took a picture of it then scooped up my boy and they went to work as I walked out. Four hours later I got a text message saying Simon was ready. Once arrived, I walked in and was once again greeted warmly and paid while they fetched my boy. The cost was wayyyy more affordable than where I went last time and was even less than I expected. When they brought out Simon I was so impressed. They did a fantastic job! As we were abut to leave it dawned on me that I left his harness and leash in my other vehicle and would have to carry him to the car. The woman behind the counter offered me one of their leashes to walk him to the car. I declined since I'm used to carrying Simon on occasion and we left very satisfied. Simon's reception upon waking in the door at home was excellent. We are so very happy with everything. When the time is right we will definitely return. After the whole experience I have absolutely no problem driving 30 minutes for a wonderful experience. Established. Trustworthy. Affordable. Professional. read more

Our 13 year old Springer has many health issues. Bath House was wonderful with him!! They Groomed him in stages and did the best they could with a frail old boy with a very sparse coat. Bath House was referred to me by a friend and I was not disappointed. I have a French bulldog and my little Frenchie does not like baths, but Bath House did an amazing job! As a Frenchie, his skin is very sensitive and he has a few folds that need cleaned and my pup came back squeaky clean! I love that they use organic products for your pets health in mind. I dropped him off at 9AM and picked him up around 2PM. I had a lot of errands to run that day so it was great that they kept him that long and even played with him while he was there. They even give you a call when your dog is done. He was bathed, blow dried, brushed, had a blueberry facial, his teeth and ears cleaned, his nails clipped, and had his anal glands expressed. They put cologne on him and kid you not he smelled amazing for 3 weeks. They even gave him a patriotic bandana! Great for the 4th of July and the company we were having AND all for an extremely great price! I like that they call to follow up to see how your pet is doing a few days after their visit. The best grooming experience my Doodle and I have ever had. When I dropped Dixie off this morning, we were very warmly welcomed by the front desk. She gave me swatches of hair so I could pick how short I wanted Dixie's hair which I thought was super nice, knowing I wasn't going to pick up Dixie with any surprises. Then before I left she said "feel free to call anytime to check on her". This made me feel super comfortable! Tried again, and booked an appointment online with 3 weeks advance, called the day before but they didn't have the appointment so made another appointment in another 3 weeks. We dropped him off, and when I picked him up they said they gave him a bath then took him to go to the bathroom but he got poop on his back fur and had to bathe him again so they couldn't groom him. After struggling to find a groomer I really liked in Jax, a friend recommended Bath House Pet Grooming and I couldn't be happier! My poodle/schnauzer mix, Cali, has been coming here for three years now. The staff is amazing with her. Every time I call (which is usually last minute because I think about it all week and forget to call until day before!) they always remember Cali and try to make time for her to come in. Although, Saturdays are really busy so make sure you don't do what I do and try to call at least a week in advance! The owner and groomer is a lady named Ray, and some of her family work here too. They are all so incredibly nice and always tell me how good Cali is when they groom her. Which is a little surprising because she won't let me brush her teeth or do her nails! Ha.
