Pupsicles was an absolute lifesaver. We reached out to them last minute and they were able to help us. We have never used a service before with our dog and we're VERY uneasy about having people in our home while we were away. They were great about reassuring us that everything would be okay. While we were gone they sent us photo proof that they were taking Lexi out and what activities they did with her. Their policy requires 8 hours to schedule a walk. And this was their response VERBATIM: After receiving your request for services we understand your frustrations- "It is 4:19AM on Monday, March 11th, and its telling me my 2:00pm request can't be completed because it requires 8 hrs. notice. Inaccurate. Annoying. Fix it." At this point in time, Pupsicles has a time requirement for submitting jobs. We made this decision as a company in order to help streamline scheduling. I apologize if this policy was not made clear during our Meet & Greet. Moving forward, we feel it would be best if you were to find a company that could better serve your needs and apologize for any inconvenience.  Some of us work in the Healthcare field and work very long, demanding hours that most people couldn't fathom. I live in another city, while my elderly mom lives in Denver. Her dog got really sick this morning and had to be taken to a vet right away. My mom doesn't drive and, unfortunately, no friends could help on such a short notice. 'Pupsicles' were able to accommodate our last minute request. Pet taxi ride was arranged quickly and professionally over the phone! Sophie was at my mom's place in no time. She took our poor sick 'baby' to the vet where it received urgent treatment. Then, she brought her back home. My mom's dog feels so much better! So do we! Thank you, Pupsicles, for being there for us at a difficult time and for your great and professional service! Unfortunately I can no longer recommend this company in any way. I reconnected with this company (after happily using them in 2015-16, under different owners) when I moved back to Denver in July 2020. My dog and I met the owners (at my house) shortly after the move, but I wasn't in need of care until this summer. My experience recently could not have been more unprofessional and frustrating. TL:DR, I booked 2 weeks of overnight care weeks and weeks in advance for my dog, and then a week before my trip they told me they couldn't provide any services at all and had no one to recommend. I had an email exchange about 6 weeks before my trip confirming the entire stay, and set up a meet-and-greet with the sitter for about a week before my planned trip. At the outset of the meet-and-greet, the sitter (actually one of the co-owners) had no idea of what the actual dates of my trip were (she offered that she could stay for 3 of the 12 nights I'd booked and that I should reach out to their office manager for any "additional care" I needed, despite having already booked the entire time in advance) and then asked about the "neighborhood." I live near Curtis Park - not the "best" neighborhood, but also pretty par for course for all of central Denver - ie, don't wander around in the middle of the night and don't leave expensive stuff out in the backyard and don't be stupid, but I'd always felt safe living there alone. I then got a text from Pupsicles an hour after the meet-and-greet saying the owner didn't feel comfortable staying in my neighborhood AT ALL and that they had no other sitters available. WTF?!?! Isn't this their exact business? I can't imagine any central Denver pet service NOT being familiar with 5 points/Curtis Park. It's a city neighborhood, in a city, but not more unsafe than frankly any other downtown neighborhood. Regardless, they knew my exact address (the same owner had even been there before!) - they could have at any point said that they were unable to help. Finally, one of the owners called me to superficially apologize and explained they were elimininating overnight pet-sitting from their offerings but, again, why was I not told this when I booked OVERNIGHT CARE WELL OVER A MONTH AGO? My neighborhood is squarely within the service area map on the website, and the website also lists "overnight care" as one of their services. Basically, I am now left with finding emergency longer-term (almost 2 weeks) dog boarding in the middle of summer - my flights are already booked and plans made. These issues (concerns about the area/dates/lack of availability for overnight care) could have been addressed at literally any point for the last 5-6 weeks, but instead were left until days before my trip, which puts me in a super difficult spot. Definitely avoid at all costs. read more

This is an amazing and professional dog care company where I know my dog is provided exercise, socialization, and discipline exactly like I provide for him. The team is all so friendly and they communicate throughout the day or during a trip about how my dog is doing in their care; we love getting pictures of him playing and running! With an extensive and creative list of services we always find what we need; the off leash hikes and other adventures are great departures from city walks. read more

We've been using Pupsicles's services for over a year now and absolutely love them. Everyone of their people is caring and trustworthy, they are phenomenal at proactive communication, and they left us the nicest care package for the holidays! We do a combination of walks and hikes for our dog and we always get a clear post-walk summary each time, with pictures. After the hikes, she basically sleeps for the 24 hours. I needed a dog walker in a pinch and was referred to Pupsicles by another dog walking service that was booked for the weekend. They were extremely accommodating and I had a meeting set up with Clara to come over and meet my dog the next night. She was great!! Tremendous experience with Pupsicles! We were going out of town for a family wedding, and our pup had more of a vacation than we did!! Our not-so-little lady (mastiff) is only 9 months old, a bit emotional, and really REALLY tall when she wants to make a mess, so it was important to us that she got plenty of exercise and was exercised regularly to preserve the sanctity of our home (or at least everything less than 5 ft off the ground). We elected to have our pup stay with Pupsicles as long as the pups got along, and what a success! Prior to the trip the owner brought her dog over to see how the pups interacted -- love at first sight -- and then picked Ruth up prior to our departure, mastered her particular puppy diet to the T, and dotted the I by bringing our lady back to us practically the minute we returned home. In addition, we had updates throughout the trip as to how she was doing, and even pictures to boot! Easily the best dog-care experience we've ever had, our dog would be back tomorrow if it was up to her, and we would recommend Pupsicles Dog Care for any of your furry-friend's needs. read more

Can't emphasize enough how fantastic Pupsicles is. I have a 13 yr old doxie who I got as a rescue at the age of 8, and I get very nervous leaving him in someone else's care. When our regular dog sitter had to cancel, we needed to find someone fast to watch our two dogs for 11 days. We were referred by our Doggie Day Care to Suzy at Pupsicles, who promptly returned my call, even though she was on her way back to Denver and just about to catch a flight. Within one day she had us scheduled for an interview and one of her staff ready to help us out. Because our dogs are high maintenance, the sitter needed to cook two meals for them each day and stay all day and all night at our house. Kate, the sitter, sent us a text each day with a report so we would feel comfortable. Everything was handled with precision and care. Our dogs seemed very relaxed and well cared for upon our return.
