My puppy, Moose, needed his first haircut. I contacted the shop via Facebook and they were very responsive and proactive about booking my pup! Ally was our stylist for Moose (he is a second gen Labradoodle) and she did a FANTASTIC job! She listened to everything that I asked and more. I was so happy with the way he turned out. Moose appeared very happy and excited when he came out, which is a great sign to me as well. We booked our next appointment. In my opinion, their prices are very reasonable and all the employees are very happy groomers. Definitely take your doodles here!

We're now moving out of state and my clippers got packed up. I finally caved and made an appointment. I asked if I could watch through the window and they were very receptive. Ally was my girl's groomer and I couldn't believe how well behaved my yorkie was and how great the end result was! I was planning on just one visit, but I squeezed in one more grooming before our move. Ally was gentle and showed a genuine enjoyment of her work. She even gave my yorkie the hairstyle I wanted.

i highly recommend pup town. the groomers are patient and loving toward your pets. i was a customer for 7 years and my 2 poodle mix dogs always looked greatafter the groom. for me a good groom is important but more important is how my pet is treated and at pup town they are the best. they even found my 2 yr old a wonderful new home when ihad to move and couldn't take gizmo with me. tammy o read more

I'm a very protective mommy for my little 7lb Marky named Baxter. I rescued him from a terrible home so I am very hesitant. I've had a heck of a time finding someone I trust to groom him. I'm new to the area and found Shawna at PupTown and am incredibly happy. This is my second visit here and will be coming back and back again. Baxter loves Shawna and so do I! I thought they did a ok job with my Yorkie Max. They were a bit pricy! I used to have him groomed while we were in Cali they charged me 50 bathe and groom him. Max's hair was already pretty short no mats so to charge me 67 bucks to throw him in a tub and trim him up was way out of my price range!! I probably won't be back! He's only 5 lb. Makes me wonder what they charge for much bigger dogs!?? Thanks but no thanks!!! read more

The owner of Pup Towne, Ivonne, is absolutely amazing. I found her over four years ago when she worked at another pup salon. Shortly thereafter she opened her own salon. Beware of this groomer. They have very, very poor customer service. I have been using them for over a year and recently they took a turn for the worst. They *never* return phone calls promptly (literally, I have waited up to two week to hear from them), and when they do return calls they leave rude, short voicemails. They say they are not taking new clients until May, however, I have had my dog groomed twice at this location and many more times I have gone in for them to trim my dogs nails. They called me and told me I have no priority for an appointment because I have only taken my dog in a couple of times for grooming. This is insulting. They have been my regular groomer for a year and now that they are busy they don't have time for me. I understand the owner is out on maternity leave, but the actions of the business in her absence is deplorable. Clearly, they don't care about ALL of their clients. I am very disappointed in the way I have been treated by this groomer and because of that, I can not suggest this groomer at all. read more

5 stars!!! I'm so happy I can take my puppy to an incredibly loving environment. As soon as you walk in you can tell everyone there loves what they do, and they are excited to see you're pet. I picked my little girl up, and they gave her the cutest little cut, and put a bow in her hair. Excited I have a great place to take my doggy too. Thanks everyone there! read more

They were able to get me a same-day appointment and took great care of my dog. I brought in my Australian shepherd who was a complete mess... dirty, with shaggy, matted hair everywhere. He came out looking like he was ready for the dog show! read more

Just moved to the area and read the reviews for Puptown. Took both my lab Mux and pooshon in to get a full makeover. They were in dire straights and they came out amazing. They smell wonderful and my pooshon was not completely shaved down. Normally we groom every 6 weeks but spent 3 months in a log cabin so needless to say they were a mess. Staff was friendly and dogs had no problem with the surroundings. Would highly recommend this groomer to anyone. Prices are great too. Right in line with what we have always paid. I take my Springer here every three months. The friendly staff at Pup Town really listen to what you want and come through everytime. My 9 year old dog isnt afraid to go and actually seems to enjoy it! Thank you Pup Town for always doing a great job. read more

But today I had a very bad experience with their current staff and policies. I dropped my pup off at 7:15 a.m. this morning (drop off is 7 - 8). I stopped in to pick her up at 12:15ish (pick up is before 1:00 p.m.). I wasn't really sure what "before 1:00" meant but figured if I dropped my pup off at 7:15 surely that was enough time to get her done. I was greeted by a very annoyed and unapologetic staff whose only response was "well... ugh!". I left and returned a minute later to catch them talking crap about me! My only crime was to try to be prompt and pick up my pup "before 1:00" (whatever that means). One of our last freedoms in this country is to decide where we spend our money - for me, it won't be at the Barking Lot.

I asked why if she was dirty she couldn't have bathed her as her groomer and we could have booked a cut for the next time or she could have reached out to me to develop a plan? She stated since she was booked for a dry cut she didn't have time to do that. Okay. I paid for the discounted grooms and she asked me if I wanted to book a full groom. I said no, I'd really just like to see my dogs. She said ok I'll go get them. While waiting another staff member came up and was helping another customer. We mentioned he had been waiting for about 5 minutes for our dogs and weren't sure what the hold up was. The staff member looked at us and asked if we had paid. Yes we paid! Made us feel like our dogs were being held from us or something. It was an odd and uncomfortable experience for us overall. My dog that was groomed looked nice. Her cut was pretty. I sat her in my lap and I was covered in fur after. Like they didn't clean the excess fur off of her after. She also seemed irritated for the rest of the day, butt scooting on the carpet, licking her paws, and she had hair in her eyeballs. Her tear stains and food stains on her face were still there. These have always been cleansed away by other groomers and I've never seen my furbaby so irritated after a groom. Will not be back.

My Cocker Spaniel has been going here since he was just a puppy. He loves going here, and I wouldn't dream of taking him anywhere else. We are always treated with love and respect. And, my dog always leaves looking like a champion! The owner is a true animal lover and that really comes across to the pets and to the people who love their pets. Salon is always spotless clean. Always get reminder call the day before appointment. I recommend Pup Town to everyone and would stake my reputation on it. I am very overly concerned with the welfare of my dog (now dogs, have adopted another sweet Cocker Spaniel), and would never leave them with someone I didn't trust with all my heart. read more

LOVE this place! My puppies are NOT fans of getting groomed. In fact, they always seemed very traumatized anytime we took them somewhere. I think it is because at other places they keep them in these tiny kennels until they are ready to groom them, then put them back in there. NOT HERE! They let them run around with the other dogs and it's basically a play date where they come home looking great, smelling great, and snuggly soft. They are always so sweet to my pups, and I could not be any more grateful for how well they treat them. You have to take your animals here! read more
