I love when places don't premix the filling: I like seeing the cheese separate from the meat. Oftentimes when premixed you can barely see, or taste, the meat. Our main courses were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The tamal was delicious, yes I'm also a tamal snob. Horchata was great, too. What can I say, I have zero complaints. Is it aesthetically or visually appealing? Of course not. But I personally never care for that when choosing restaurants, as long as hygiene or cleanliness doesn't doesn't look questionable.

When I stopped by, there was only a couple of other people there, but plenty of parking in their lot or along the street. Seating is open air, with a patio, and prices are very reasonable. I had heard that their pupusas were good- and they were! Topping in a ziplock bag was creative, if a little strange. I would return to try their tacos. The bar area seating did not appeal to me- and we ordered at the bar, which is also something that doesn't appeal to me- but perhaps it would appeal to others.
