I've only tried pupusas twice before and my bf was craving them so we decided to come here. Parking was a bit hard to find as the area is only street parking. The restaurant was homey and clean, and the staff were kind and attentive. We ordered pupusas de Birria, pupusa revuelta con queso, chicharron con queso, frijol conqueso, and yuca frita. The meat and cheese were also good though I wish they were cheesier. I tried the lorocro; while it's not for me my boyfriend really enjoyed it. The soups come with a side of freshly made tortillas -which means they are a bit thicker than the ones you get at the market and rice. I've been ordering from here for a year now. I went inside the store twice. The second time I seen the prep lady that does the prepping she was asked in Spanish was something spoiled or not. She took her hand WITH GLOVES on TOOK HER FINGER dipped it in the sauce and LICKED her hands and said it good and not spoiled. Well she didn't even changer her gloves or nothing. She was also snackiyon food with the same gloves on. I stood up out of my chair in disbelief looked right at them is disgust. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I ordered off of grubhub. The order was placed at 6:46pm. Before I left the house grubhub said sent an update the food was being made and it would be 20-30 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:20pm. I told them I was picking up. Then I had to state I ordered from grubhub. The guy told me, they never got an order and to show him my receipt of the order. Finally after that, they said oh wait we found your grubhub order. It would be about 20-30 minutes because they had to make it. Remind you this place was basically empty when I went in. I finally got the food at 7:50pm. I had a very large order and I was ticked off. I got home, half of my order was missing about 5 different things. More than $10 worth. Wrote it all down. Tried calling the restaurant. Told me no one there speaks English, meanwhile 15 minutes ago someone did. Call grubhub and they call the restaurant. The restaurant refused to give us a refund of any kind.
