    Smooth Like Butter Waffle

You can both reserve your table prior to your visit or you go walk-in, but you may need to stand in the lineup for tables to get ready. We booked in advance for brunch and when we got there, we were received by one of the friendly waiting staff. Their menu has many options: benedicts, pancakes, crepes, French toasts, waffles, skillets, breakfast sandwiches, omelets, breakfast poutines, avocado toasts and kids menu. At the first glance, menu items seem a bit pricey, but they offer big portions. We ordered "Angus Benedict" and "Smooth Like Butter Waffle". They were both delicious and made out of fresh ingredients. I would definitely want to try other menu items.

Delicious food! Great drinks, service was excellent and great space with cute decor. The cinnamon roll pancakes were amazing. The hot chocolate and the Carmel cinnamon latte was great. Definitely recommend this brunch place.

    I ordered the "popular"

The food was just alright. Home fries very good. The eggs were very overdone, more than I asked for. I'd guess that had to do with it being a full restaurant. Took 30 minutes for breakfast after ordering, so a bit of a long wait. Busy place for a Thursday afternoon!

Didn't really know what to expect but the person in charge, Wayne, was amazing. The place didn't have a dine in or patio ( maybe because of Covid and all) but he was nice enough to make us fresh coffee to try. He happened to be roasting some beans and invited us to watch. What a treat!!!! It's amazing to find gems like this in the area. I usually drink medium roast but he made me try the dark roast and I ended up buying a bag of that too. I would definitely come back and recommend this place 100%.

By luck, I caught a coffee tasting when I dropped by while I was in the area. What you'll find here: front of shop that displays bags of fresh coffee beans that are roasted in small batches, aeropress, pour over, and other coffee accoutrement, plus the larger "warehouse" area where beans are being roasted/packaged. Perhaps Wayne will make you a coffee/espresso-based drink so you can sample their beans! What you won't find here: baked goods, muzak, laptops, stale beans, or dairy alternatives. Again, it's a coffee roastery that also preps bags for e-commerce. It's not a café. 250g bags are around $9, a bit more expensive for their Microlots - if&when they're available! This is loads cheaper than many other roasteries that I've been to where you're paying ~$20 for a bag and don't necessarily end up liking it. Recommended stop for any coffee lover if you're near the Bronte GO Station!

Having been back here close to a dozen times over the last decade, I can firmly say this place is the perfect combination of gastro-ingenuity and traditional staples done right. The vibe is "industrial chic," which is essentially code for "I'm feeling something fancy, but still want to be able to visit in my Kirkland shorts." The food has a heavy focus on local ingredients, with flavors that are incredibly tight and well-balanced. The steak frites are so tender I'm pretty sure they were cut with a polite suggestion rather than a knife. The scallops are meaty and perfectly cooked. And of course the burger is absolutely mouthwatering and make it the tempting default option during each visit. The appetizers are all fantastic, Kat and the Korean cauliflower takes the cake! For desert, their house cheesecake is phenomenal, and their in house amber ale is full and flavourful. Our server was on the ball; the water was never empty, and the check ins were always at the right time. Verdict: 10/10. If you want western food with a fun twist and high quality ingredients, this is one spot you must check out!

The service was great, our server gave us a free latte because their coffee machine took forever to work. I got a hazelnut old fashion and it tasted amazing. The food was delicious, we got Huevos Rancheros (instead of tofu I opted for chorizo) and a Chorizo Benedict. Both the dishes were flavorful and came with crispy potatoes. I would recommend this place!
