This is a sad review for me as I rarely or if not give a one star but what can I say? It was the bad service that led me to a one star review. Me and my bestie always wants to try something New on our days off and I saw this restaurant to have good reviews! I am a lover of anything brunch places and this looks soo promising because of the reviews . Ambiance is very appealing , kind of like a a sunset grill kind of feel . I got my food and was very happy about until I saw a "HAIR!" ! I told to my bestie I don't want to complain cause I want my day to be a chill ,fun and relax day ! But then I saw another small one like an "eyelash?" I again Told my bestie I don't want to complain . My bestie told me it looks like a fur or something. So I called the server and showed what I found . To my surprise , he brought out a MAGNIFYING glass!! I couldn't believe it and then he said , "I DON'T see anything" When both me and my friend saw it . Then he took out a light with magnifying glass and told us that it looks like a bubble, then I said , "I don't want to get anything from it, but I just wanted to let you know". When he heard this ,he said ."I'm sorry". I wish he should've said I'm sorry I'm the first place and not argue that he didn't see anything . I wish I have taken a photo but lesson learned.

Patio seating open and this a wonderful spot! Check-in upon arrival , scan the menu , seats sanitized after customers leave - all Covid precautions followed and great food! The eggs Benjamin was awesome - smoked salmon perfect and loved their hollandaise sauce. We chose side of salad which was super fresh and loved the dressing. The eggs Florentine equally good. For the side chose the home fries and they are good. The portion is filling. The pancakes are a must try - supersoft , perfectly cooked and the lovely old fashioned syrup , do not miss. Very good customer service. Not much waiting time upon order. Overall loved this place! Highly recommended.

Located in the same complex as Farm Boy. It's probably only a few months old!

A Cora's dupe...but with a smaller menu. They focus on local maplewood smoked bacon, fresh cut fruit, including freshly squeezed OJ, and they even serve Cameron's beer! I'm right in between this location & the Etobicoke one, but I decided to come here instead 'cause The Queensway one sounds like it would be very, very busy! This Oakville location is in the same plaza as the new Farm Boy. So it has probably been open *maybe* a few months only. It's located on a corner and there is even an outdoor patio for the warmer months. We ordered Eggs Benjamin (w/ lox), a Cheeseburger w/ home fries, and a coffee. Coffee was solid and there were free refills! Bun that came with the burger was a nice 'n fluffy egg bun. Burger itself was juicy, def not dry, but not as BIG as photo'd at the Etobicoke location. Still really good though if you don't feel like the "breakfast" standards. Maybe I'd ask for it to be cooked medium next time. Tip: If you don't specify, Cheeseburger comes with lots and lotsa mayo. Salad looked soo fresh! No browning anywhere. The ONLY thing that could be improved were the home fries. First, they weren't served hot - in fact, some of the pieces were already cold. Home fries were at different temps, but nothing was hot. And although they appeared seasoned (with some kinda herb), they tasted bland. The only good thing I have to say is that they weren't salty or greasy. If they fix their home fries - and perhaps even offer fries w/ their burger - they'll do GREAT! Maybe we were given the dregs since it was soo close to closing time. Only 3-4 tables full an hour before closing. They close at 3pm every day.

Freddy's Caramel Waffle (bananas and pecans drizzled with milk caramel and topped with real whipped cream). Don't miss it!

August 27/2025: Breakfast with Lindsay…read more Our server "McKayla" was very nice & polite. Food came to the table at a normal speed. I ordered the Steak/Mushroom "Angus Eggs Benedict" ($18.75) with an extra egg ($1.50). The Benny had a very unique flavour profile but it totally worked. The eggs were made to perfection (runny but not overly so) & the Angus portion had lots of onions. This was a delicious breakfast. I asked for the potatoes to be over fried & they were & equally as delicious. The only minor issue was the meal wasn't hot enough. Around the edges the food was even a bit cool. The men's washroom was well cared for, properly equipped & clean. In the dining area there was a small issue with house flies. This could EASILY move to a 5-star. Get rid of the flies & make the food hotter. Otherwise this was a positive dining experience. It's a do-over.

I asked our server, who assured us it was "on its way," but apparently it took a detour to another dimension because it never arrived. I finally had to track down someone else just to get the waffle made. By the time it showed up, the whole experience was pretty much toast. Funny enough, the only thing not pur or simple was the service.

This place gets extremely busy so I suggest adding your name on the waitlist prior to going here…read more The place has lots of seating though the aisles can get quite tight. I ordered the Southwest Steak Hash with Scrambled Egg Whites (4/5). The potatoes had a nice texture to them. They were crispy on the outside yet pillowy soft on the inside. I love the addition of the fried onions too. The steak, however, was not as tender and juicy as I hoped to be. The guac could've used some more lemon. The sauce was good with its flavour tying in the dish. It was creamy and delicately spicy. I asked for tabasco sauce for that extra kick! We were seated right next to the washrooms and right in front of the entrance of the kitchen which was unpleasant. Hence, why I deducted a star. I don't think they should even offer this table to customers. Our server was great. She was attentive and friendly, and she always took the time to check in on us and top up our coffees and water.

They offer Malaysian/singaporean dishes which is sometimes hard to find. The place was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Malaysian curry laksa with a half udon half vermicelli noodles. The broth was so coconuty and shrimpy which is how I likey laksa. Good amount of garnish of shrimp, tofu, and fish balls. The only thing was the noodles was more vermicelli than the udon. I think next time I'll order it I'll get it for udon only. Definitely coming back here for the bakkutteh dish my other favourite!

The place was far from crowded when we showed up, and we were told to check out the menus and place our order at the front. We decided to share the House Special Sandwich ("Pork loin marinated with house special recipe, tomato, fried egg, cabbage and peanut butter") and the Malaysian Street Style sandwich ("4oz ground beef with a taste of M'sian spice, tomato, fried egg, lettuce and sweet & spicy sauce"). (I also got a milk tea to drink, and it was really good. Very rich but not too sweet.) The sandwiches were both excellent. They were packed with flavor and the various components all worked really well together. The Malaysian Street Style did flirt with being just a little too sweet, but it was balanced out with the other components. Everything was decently priced, too. The bill, with tip, came out to around 25 bucks, which is great considering the quantity and caliber of food we were given.

We arrived around 11am on a long weekend and they had plenty of tables available, but by the time we were leaving, all the tables were full. You need to order your food first and get seated after. They bring your order to you, but if you need a coffee refill, or milk and cream, you need to pick them up yourself at the station. Coffee refill was a challenge for us, since we had to go through all other tables and wait for the staff to refill our coffee, and even there were times they were out of milk and had to drink our coffee black. We ordered "Key West Eggs", "Crepe au Fraises", "Slow Roasted Lamb" and "Canadian Peameal Back Bacon". Our food was delicious and we would love to go back and try more of their menu items. Just expecting delays for our coffee this time. Lol

The Balsamic Chicken (with bacon, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, spinach and pesto aioli) was fantastic, and had excellent flavours. The side dipping sauce was delicious. The Florence St. Sandwich (with tomatoes, artichokes, Asiago and sun dried tomato pesto) was good, but I didn't enjoy the flavours as much so would probably try something different the next time. I would have preferred to select my own bread since the ciabatta and panini was hard to cut through with a knife - it got messy. It would have been better if it was cut in half before being served to the customer to make it easier to eat. After ordering from the counter, there was sign to wait to be seated. Service just to get seated was extremely slow. In the end, we asked someone if we could seat ourselves, which we did. The food was then brought to the table, but it was confusing since we had to get up again to go to a different counter to put cream and sugar in our coffee. Although the portion size of the chicken and ingredients were good, the sandwiches were pricey considering there was no table service, and seating was disorganized. It would be difficult to host large groups or families here. It would have been ok to reduce the amount of chicken to cut costs and price since there were two thick layers of meat. Ambiance was good.
