We went in person hoping to speak with someone directly about the camp and learn more about the program. When we arrived at the school the women at the door told us to call a number posted on the door so someone could come downstairs and speak with us. We were never even welcomed past the front steps and were left standing outside the entire time. After calling the number we were simply told the program was full. No one ever came downstairs to speak with us and no one took the time to explain the program or even mention the possibility of applying next year. The interaction felt very cold, dismissive, and unwelcoming. As someone who works in hospitality I understand how important first impressions and "moments of truth" are. Even if a program is full families should still be treated with kindness, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, the way we were treated made me feel very small and unwelcome. Based on this experience I would never want to send my child to a place where families are treated this way.

It seemed pretty clean despite kids being everywhere. Adults could fairly easily also use the structure with their kids. Age ranges are pretty big! There's a small area for babies and young toddlers, but otherwise there seemed to be kids between 18 months and 6 or 7 years old in the main spaces. Our favorite part was the larger, open space with balls. There were lots of places to run around. Having an indoor tennis court was unique, but it was a bit crowded on our given day. We entered through the back, through the dance studio entrance, and were a little confused about set-up and cost. I'm surprised they don't have a desk at that entrance.

I am VERY disappointed in the lack of communication and down right false advertisement that their website displayed. I will take this as a learning lesson for future birthday parties. I chose the 1st party slot at 11:30am and walked into what looked like 3 other parties going on since there was an INSANE amount of kids there. At NO point was it mentioned that there were sports play and teams happening prior to my party and I should expect kids to "clear out" within minutes of the party starting. The anxiety and disappointment was enough to ruin my whole day. The celebration kicks off with an exciting 30-minute session of play on our Adventure Playground (Open to a limited number of the Public), where the birthday child and their friends can explore, climb, and play together. Once the energy is running high, we'll transition to our turf field (Private to you) for 30 minutes of engaging fun field games, run by your 2 party pros that will keep everyone entertained. The final 30 minutes is in your Party Room for pizza and cake $549 - 15 Party Guests 2nd Complaint: They have a Happy Birthday board which excluded my childs name throughout her whole party! It wasnt until the end of the party that I was informed by party members that her name was never on the board. I believe a staff member overheard us talking since 20mins later there it was. We had the 1st party slot. There was no reason her name was excluded on that day. It didn't matter to me much at the time since the kids are playing and not paying attention and i was so stressed out by other thing to notice BUT it is a big deal! 3rd compliant: The owner mentioned that they will provide veggie sticks, water and apple juice + 2 pizza pies within their package. At no point was anyone informed that these items would come in pitchers! If I knew this, then I would ahve purchased my own bottle water. I wasnt expecting the big bottle water but even the minis would be nice. The last party place we had provided these items so I was surprised it was not mentioned more clearly. So since I kept asking for water, they provided water bottles - which I thought was included and ended up being charged ADDITIONAL for it after the party. No call, no text no explanation just an additional charge to my card for water. RIDICULOUS 4th complaint: The play area ( even when in one side of the playplace) is SOOO big that the poor staff member tried to gather the kids for a game. THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE! No child is going to stop playing to hear instructions on a game when there are 5 million other things going on. Plus trying to keep the party together was impossible. The entrance, layout and overall experience was chaotic and unorganized. The list goes on. Not worth the cost.

This is a review of their gym space and not for the whole center. The gym has multiple drawbacks…read morethe most important one being not having multiple machines for strength training. Last summer they changed vendors for the machine and since then they seem to break quite a lot, and the repairs take forever. For example, currently the leg machine has been out of order for three weeks. And the cable machine is broken every week. So during busy times I end up wasting 15 to 30 minutes waiting for equipment. In the summertime it can get very stuffy inside because they don't have adequate airflow or fans. I have made multiple suggestions in their suggestion box, but as of now seen no results. I am hoping they will be moved to action after reading this review. I give them one more month and after that, I'm switching to somewhere else.

Adam Wallach and Ken Barer do an incredible job of running the camp, marketing it, communicating with parents, rallying kids for weekly spirit days -- and generally rockin' it. The kids swim twice day and are given just the right amount of freedom for their age. My guy was thrilled to ride his bike around on trails independently (without a grownup following closely) in mountain biking. Picky eater though he is, he seems to eat decently well, carbo-loading every day at lunch. Kids get occasional treats like fruit sushi, which the kids get to make themselves, trips to an ice cream truck, and cold (not-too-unhealthy) popsicles in the afternoon. Our guy kept telling us about eating fresh strawberries at lunchtime that were picked, he said, from the camp's own strawberry patch. (I can't verify this claim; it did seem like it'd take an improbably long growing season and an awfully, awfully large patch of strawberries to supply all those hungry kids for the summer.) Counselors keep the kids hydrated in the heat, buses are shockingly timely (MTA should take note!). Bus counselors do a great job of communicating bus arrival times. Activities are varied and interesting, including options like "mining," water works, pottery, archery, crafts, farming(!), all manner of sports (tennis, soccer, baseball, etc..) -- and there is always something new going on. My guy was excited to go from the moment he woke up each morning. Yes, the camp is guilty of blatant cultural appropriation -- but we get that at this point, there's monetary value in the branding that makes change difficult. At least they're changing the logo in coming years. We'd be thrilled if they actually taught the kids a bit about the tribes of the Haudenosaunee / Iroquois Confederacy that the groups are named after. (Our son reports that there is some sort of small "museum" on the grounds with a few artifacts found on-site.) We did some of our own research. All in all a fabulous, fun way to spend the summer. Our guy is counting the years until he gets to be a counselor himself.

I said well if you can't give me a plan the next time it happens I will have to call the police. the Director then hung up on me and the late in the next day (Saturda) she sent an email telling me that my kids were kicked out of the camp and not allowed to go on the sleep away portion week that they were already packed for and excited to go on that Monday. The owners of the camp also refused to call me or email The situatio. Summer trails let the bully win and my kids were victimized by the bully the Director of Summer Trails ! the Director is the most evil human being I have come across in my life! Stay far away from this place!

There were just a handful of activities they really couldn't do. That being said, I saw a bunch of toddlers who were also having a blast. The namesake slide was closed all morning, which was a bummer, but I'm also not sure my kids would have actually done it. The trampolines, acrobatic swing bar, and multi-level play structure were their favorites. I agree that some people working here were more happy to be there. The waiver is long. Try to do it ahead of time.

Great experience at Air Riderz Adventure Park in Port Chester…read more Large covered parking lot shared with other stores and shops nearby. We used a Groupon and had no issues redeeming when visiting on a Friday morning. We were instructed to complete the waivers at the kiosks near the entrance. We did have to purchase the mandatory socks which was $18 for three (3) pairs. Before proceeding to the play areas, we put our things in the little cubes they have for storage...i.e. shoes, bags, etc. Keep in mind these are open cubes which anyone can access. I never felt unsafe in leaving our things there...but as always, there is a risk. It was not very crowded on a Friday morning at around 10:30am (they open at 10) so it was a pleasure navigating the space with minimal crowds. There are lots of areas to enjoy for both adults and children. The main area has trampolines as well as some interactive areas where you jump to tap buttons and two video screens where you mimic the movements on screen...both area great. There are a few obstacle courses: ninja, balance beam, and swing pit. The basketball area is also great with a cushioned surface, two hoops, and targets where you can throw balls at. There are two huge slides in the center which are fun. Finally, there a "rock climbing" area with a few different climbing options. You must have the "climb" option added to your pass in order to use it though. You will be belayed during the climb. Be mindful that the gripped socks provided do NOT offer the best grip while climbing in my opinion...climbing was much more difficult that I experience in traditional rock climbing places that provide rock climbing shoes...then again, maybe it is just me. There is a food area which sells some snacks: soft drinks, chips, candy. There are also a few tables nearby where you can eat. Overall we had a great time here...the space was very clean and well-maintained. All staff we encountered were very nice. Be sure to check ahead if visiting with toddlers as there are some restrictions on which areas they are able to visit.
