There was some inappropriate language used, including taking the Lord's name in vain, foul language and frequent references to drinking. When I tried to cancel my membership due to not being able to book classes--most of which were full--I was told it was my responsibility to check availability before signing up. I wasn't aware that classes would fill up so quickly and that I would need to book a week or two in advance. My work schedule does not permit me to book out a week or two in advance. I've only managed to attend a few classes. Additionally, some instructors seem unprepared, while others have structured sessions. I also expected the instructors to be in better shape than their students.

He reported, slipping and falling on something wet, which leads me to believe that the facilities weren't being properly monitored for cleanliness and safety around children. The following week, my son fell in his lip was busted, but the team in charge of kids academy really had no explanation as to how that happened either. Finally, in an attempt to relax recently, I chose to enjoy the steam room and hot tub on site. Both rooms had mold on the floor, and when I went to take a shower, I found that someone had detangled their hair and smeared it on the wall of the shower and that no one had bothered to clean it up. At over $200 a month for the membership you would expect that maintenance will be available and that I would not have had hair balls flying at me when I tried to get in the shower, but that is not the case. I reported this issue to the front desk and they gave me the email address to their manager. Unfortunately, I was given the wrong email address and the email bounced back. I copied the overarching Life Time email address in my communication and all I received was an automated email saying that my membership has been canceled. No acknowledgment of my experiences there. Extremely disappointing.

The studio itself is awesome! It is super clean and sleek, giving off a radiant vibe the moment you walk in. There are cubicles available in the back of the studio where customers can store their belongings during class. Don't have barre socks? RISE has you covered. They offer a handful of different colors for you to choose from and they are fairly inexpensive as well. Not to mention, they have an entire wall of adorable merchandise that can be purchased by the customers. Being my first barre class ever, I was SUPER nervous and had no idea what to expect. My anxiety was instantly relieved by the friendly staff and the welcoming customers taking the class. I was shocked at how kind these people were. Honestly, some of the nicest people I have ever met while taking a fitness class. The instructor who taught the previous class walked my friend and I through what equipment we needed and explained what barre was all about which was great since both of us had no idea what we were doing. Our instructor was wonderful as well, extremely motivating throughout the entire class, and corrected any movement that I was doing wrong which was super helpful. They play great music too which helps push you through the pain you may be experiencing as you go about the workout. I definitely left the studio feeling like I got a great workout in. I am so happy that I found this studio and will definitely be back very soon for more classes!
