I LOVE Pure Barre! The classes are so amazing and fly by! Amanda, the owner, has a caring and warm personality (thanks Amanda for making me feel right at home during my first visit and every time I take a class). I was first introduced to Pure Barre when my travels took me to San Francisco. I loved it then and I was happy to see a location here in Fayetteville. Though it has been a few years since I last did any barre, the Foundations class got me RIGHT back on track. So, definitely start there! The staff is amazing and the studio is so airy and clean. I love they have a variety of class times to accommodate any schedule. The staff makes it a point to get to know you by name and they always greet you with a smile. There are a variety of classes and each one is so good!! Though it is low-impact, baybeee you are guaranteed to get the BEST workout of your life!! Don't let the low impact fool you because you will sweat, LOL!! You can customize your workout based on your fitness level. I started Pure Barre about 5 years ago after a very persistent friend convinced me to go. I committed to a 1 month trial and loved. Life happened and I stopped going until March of this year and I'm so glad I started again. The atmosphere of women empowering women is exactly what I didn't know I needed at the time. I've tried many workouts and this is my favorite!! This is a "one-stop shop" for working out. I love that I have a total body workout in 55 minutes. Every workout is a challenge and I've become much stronger since starting barre. I love the regular barre classes and also love the new Empower classes they've just added! I've attended a couple of times. I love the concept. It's small and intimate. Staff and owner are extremely nice. They remember your name and check in on you to see how you are doing. After many a fights with my two friends who were already Pure Barre converts, I cautiously made my way over to a class last week. Needless to say, signed up for unlimited classes a few days later. I walked away with rubbery arms and legs, but a huge feeling of accomplishment. Here's my breakdown: Facilities- A+ Cozy front desk area with an ever tempting workout attire shopping section. Behind the desk there is a wall of cubbies for your stuff and a changing room across from that. The room where your muscles get abused is quite big. Ambient lighting which they adjust at times depending on the exercise. Which is a nice touch and adds to the experience. While the class size can get big I have yet to feel crowded. Bathroom....ok so I have to admit that one of my favorite things about boutique studios is to see the fancy bathrooms. Pure Barre does not disappoint. Hygiene goodies abound! Instructors- A+ I'm pretty nitpicky when it comes to instructors. I want someone who is confident and knows what they are doing. I've had 2 different women and each was great. The class has a fairly fast pace and they made the 60 minutes fly by seamlessly. They also offer postural corrections that were clear and concise. It's amazing what a one inch shift can do as far as effectiveness. Workout- A+ My muscles shake, I sweat, I cuss ( quietly). Pretty much checking all the boxes for me to have a great workout. Lots of isometric moves. Soreness in muscles that you have long forgotten. Good music as well. Top 40 genre. Price- B I gave it a B because let's be honest it's higher end fitness. Their price is on the average/ low end when compared to comparable studios. I also feel I absolutely got my money's worth. Check their website for current prices and specials. I believe they also have military discounts as well. Atmosphere- A I completely understand how something like this could be intimidating depending on your fitness level or size. I went knowing I would be paying attention to this to see how the energy was. I am happy to report that all different shapes, sizes, ages, and fitness levels where there. Here's the thing you are so focused on your own form and each movement that there is never time to gaze around the room. So don't feel self conscious! No one is watching you trust me!! I realized that about 5 minutes in. So anyways if you couldn't tell I'm a fan and happy that Pure Barre took a chance and decided Fayetteville was a place they needed to be! read more

BUYER BEWARE - Unfortunately we resort to posting this as Pure Barre Fayetteville and specifically the owner, Amanda are performing horrible business practices. My husband purchased a one year membership for me last February 2019 and paid in full up front (1199.00). I was never told to sign any contracts or agreements. If fact I did the transaction via fb message where Amanda had my permission to charge my card on file for the full yearly agreed upon amount. In January this year (2020), I wished to try something new (orange theory) and provided more than 60 days notice to ensure that my membership was not to renew as the one year ended March 2020. I spoke to Haley, one of the staff members, who annotated it on my account, assured me it would not renew and left a note for Amanda; I also personally spoke to Amanda who stated she would take care of it during a workout where she was behind the counter helping set up. She also made a note after searching my account saying she would check with corporate but not to worry. I wouldn't be charged. I then received a notification via email on January 1st (auto generated) that my account would NOT auto renew. This was shortly after speaking with Amanda so I thought I was all set. To my surprise on March 9th, 2020 I was then charged 98.93 and immediately contacted Amanda who didn't reply, but apparently attempted to do something as I received a second notice (autogenerated) that my account had been cancelled as of March 18th. I continued to try to contact Amanda with no success and had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. Then shortly after I received an email (autogenerated) that states that my account has a past due balance of 144.91. I called billing and it's a return fee and late fee in addition to the 98.93 that should never have been charged. They said they couldn't take care of it, that the actual location (Fayetteville Pure Barre) would have to handle it. Unfortunately Amanda did not reply until my husband posted a similar post. She then called me stating it was a billing issue and would take care of it. She didn't....my credit card company processed the dispute and refunded the charge. Do not recommend this place as they will take your money and then not return calls. Have all of the email correspondence that supports everything presented in this review. read more
