I went in for an intro class and had a lovely and sweet instructor who really got me excited about IM:X! While I'm used to Lagree, not this version of a workout, I found this to be the only thing near my parents house when I have to be down here a few times a month, so I explored it. I even went back a second time for the intro (at the companies request) to bring a friend (which as a business owner-- is a huge plus to have a non-confirmed client bring another person in). However, upon my second visit the owner was the instructor and it was nightmarish. She was unwelcoming upon us entering and once we got into class it was way worse. It started with her asking us our names and then blurting out "I'll never remember that.....especially a name like THAT" when referring to my friend's non-traditional non-American name. Throughout the class she made us uncomfortable by complaining about her daughter, the temp of the room, and the music. She ended up cutting off the music so it was just silence and her voice, which was odd. While doing the workout we let her know of some limitations and she said "what do you people do outside of here in your real lives?"... as if our minor limitations were not normal. It was not only uncomfortable but oddly mean spirited. At the end of it all we were ready to bolt and leave based on this experience, with me profusely apologizing to my friend for bringing her and exposing her to such negative, unwelcoming energy. It was nothing like my first time there. As we finished up the owner said "I don't try to sell anyone so if it's for you it's for you, thanks buh bye" versus even proving info or asking for feedback. Since the owner made it so odd, we won't be returning and instead bought a Lagree Miniformer to work out on versus paying someone to tell us they'll consistently forget our names and that our limitations are "weird".

The instructor Amanda's class was challenging in all the right ways, and her vibe still makes it fun and enjoyable. A great balance! I'm just one class in (after a long break), and I already feel like I'm walking taller. I started out at the Cape Coral location, and love that I have the option to utilize either studio now! Lots of shops and restaurants nearby to enjoy after class. They sell grip socks in the studio if you need! Their app makes it easy to book your class.

She was a good instructor, the studio is clean, organized and they have many reformers for a big class. I am usually a mat Pilates girl, but have done reformer. She showed me the basics of the reformer, but that was about it. The class does move pretty fast so anyone who is a beginner would probably feel lost. I also like how they have the cubbies for your items and a sign for no phones at the reformer. Overall great workout, my body is sore and I would recommend this studio.

This studio has been inconsistent with its class schedule, frequently changing times with little to no notice for members. As a member, you're required to provide a 30-day notice if you wish to end your membership. However, the studio can change its hours at any time, which may disrupt the classes you're able to attend. If the new schedule no longer works for you, you're still required to give a 30-day notice and pay for another month, even though you're unable to use the service due to their scheduling changes. This feels unfair--if members are held to a 30-day notice policy, the studio should also be held to the same standard and not penalize members for their erratic scheduling decisions. OTF is not cheap; when you're paying for a premium gym experience, you should be treated with respect and consistency.

After years of exhausting super intense group fitness classes I was ready for something different…read more I had just had my second c-section in 2 years and knew that healing my core needed to be a priority before I could get back to the intense workouts. I heard of Kelly through a friend and originally started with privates post partum. Kelly tailored our workouts to my specific needs while keeping my interest in a much "slower" workout than I was used to. I was shocked how quickly results came from a workout that didn't leave me absolutely drained the rest of the day. I knew I was hooked on Barre Roots. I truly feel more stable on my feet with all the core strength I now have; my entire body is leaner and more toned. I am now pregnant again and continuing group classes- Kelly still makes sure to check in with me as my body is changing and I am adapting.
