I really liked the vibe of the inside and loved the indoor/outdoor space separated by an open garage door. All the equipment is nice and new! The class I took was a Build class (a strength class) and we rotated ~8 stations three times. It was a good workout. I really loved the music they played too! The monthly rate seemed inline with CrossFit or other boutique gyms so a little pricey in my opinion. I also saw the instructor cleaning all the equipment after the class so that was a plus!

I researched area Tai Chi practitioners and booked an initial "tai chi" session with Master Anita…read moreand while she is very sweet and quite gifted, I cannot recommend Body & Brain and feel that an honest review is warranted. Note that I'm a certified and registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) and reiki practitioner (level 2) and have been receiving eastern modalities for over 20 years now. In all that time I have NEVER had an experience like this anywhere. Here's why I've given two stars: - I booked a Tai Chi session online and when I showed up, Anita ended up performing an energy session that resulted in a weak chakra/energy diagnosis and a need for comprehensive healing. The latter is true - I have pain and deal with that daily. Shame on me for allowing myself to get suckered into a package "deal." $3k for 90 days. Yep, you read that correctly. $3k for healing sessions, tai chi classes and workshops to heal me. I have since been refunded $1800 of that because I wised up and realized this place is simply a money pit. They price gouge for healing sessions as the customary rate is $100-$150 for an hour. - Initially, I thought this place was legit but over time that perception changed; it's all about maximizing how much money they can squeeze out of customers vs. taking the time to fully explain service offerings, pricing from the onset and find out the best fit for each person based on their needs, budget, etc. That conversation never happened so shame on them. Shame on me for not asking more questions and standing my ground in the very beginning. - The credentials of their staff are not clear. Are they RYT (registered yoga teacher) certified? No, they aren't. Are they Reiki certified? Not sure. What kind of medical training do they have? Not sure. These things are not transparent on their site. Please ask and don't assume anything as I did. This is important because practicing out of scope is not only illegal but can be harmful for customers receiving certain treatments from those that haven't had proper training. - This used to be Dahn yoga and they rebranded to save face. Research for yourself - Dahn had been in the hot seat in the past for many, many reasons. I remember going to one Dahn class over a decade ago and I ran for the hills after because it was not yoga. Yoga originated in India, is based on sanskrit and does not guilt people into worship, excess of anything. I could say more but I'll stop there and let you be the judge. If some folks have had positive experiences here I'd say keep going. I am simply speaking about my individual experience.

Master Anita isn't called master for no reason, she is caring, kind, strong, happy, knowledgeable and GENUINE. She deeply cares for each one of her clients and bend over backwards to make sure she can help. However, ALL of the instructors here are great! I came here after having multiple surgeries and not finding any relief, after my last surgery (it's been almost a year) and I'm almost out of pain and have way more flexibility than I have had in many, many years. I wouldn't be where I am now without master Anita, the other instructors and this wonderful place. I came here initially to try tai chi, but I just wasn't strong enough yet and did one on ones with master Anita and eventually started doing yoga once a week and then would increase as I was getting stronger and it wasn't even until five months later I started with tai chi, which I do really love. This place is great and it's not your traditional style of yoga, it is different. There is no judgment, and it's a very excepting place for whatever level you're at! There is varied ages that attend classes, there is also online options (but I recommend starting in person). There are workshops you can do, some are cheaper and less time summer more intense and are more costly. But each one I have done has been 110% worth it, I learn something new every time. Depending on the class it can get intense, but again everything is at your level of comfort and you just do the best you can and it is accepted. This place has changed my life, and is now a part of my regular routine. I can't imagine where I would be right now if it wasn't for master Anita, the instructors in this amazing program! I'm so grateful!

What a joke the girls that work here are. I pay over $150/month for ONEPASS through my jobs health…read moreinsurance, which allows me a membership to orange theory. I have been looking forward to getting to go use my (paid for) classes. When I called to get registered and set up in their system, they had no clue what they were doing and admitted they didn't have any experience with onepass/how to set me up. No problem, I politely asked them to try to figure it out/ask upper management. They then got completely rude and snappy towards me on the phone and basically said 'we can't help you, go contact onepass'. Well I did.. and onepass said they should just ask for my code and know how to do it. I called back to explain this, and they were again rude and not apologetic for having zero understanding of the partnership their gym has with onepass. Your gym has a business deal with onepass, and you should know how to go about it/help people who have a membership through it... especially as a manager?? And to speak so rudely to a paying customer is wild. It's not my fault you don't know how to do something that you should. Completely turned me off from going to orange theory all together, or ever in the future. I do hope they look into this though and figure it out for future members who are going/paying through their insurance like myself.

Hotworx is a unique kind of gym. There are saunas you book out for various workouts - HIIT (Cycle/Row/Blast), and ISO workouts like Yoga, stretch, barre, etc. This is not a typical sauna though, it's infrared, so offers a lot of health benefits in addition to making you SWEAT! You can access the gym any time of day and night with your membership as well. In addition to the saunas, this particular location has a nice functional weight room, along with a few cable machines. The best part is this gym is never crowded so you're not fighting with others to use the equipment. If you are looking for a new kind of workout, def check em out for a free class!

I love their hot sculpt + flow classes - a great, sweaty workout combining weights, some cardio, and flow with great energy from the instructors and fellow class-goers. All the details like the lights, intensity of music, flow of the entry to workout room are 10/10. It gets hot in the room in the best way and the structure of the class makes an hour class just flies by.

I find flexibility and strong cardio make me a better "intimate" partner. I think more people should keep this in mind... The class was about forty five minutes and started slowly then moved on to more rigorous routines. It's a very friendly and supportive environment that I really enjoyed. You can stop or slow down anytime you need to. The instructor, a very fit woman, was encouraging but never condescending or aggressive. I left sweating and tired. It was a really good way to start the day. I don't know the cost as my girlfriend either paid for me or used a guest pass of some kind. I will write an update after I attend again soon that will encompass prices, etc.

I ended up texting that phone line and someone texted back that I could come to a free class. I showed up at the agreed upon time, but the instructor hadn't known to expect me. He said few words to me while I signed a liability waiver. I explained that I'd had surgery to reattach my biceps 8 months ago, so I wanted to be careful with that arm. He shrugged and said, "You'll be alright." As the class got going, I didn't know what was going on or what station to go to. He put us in two groups but there were lots of stations all around, so I just floated aimlessly, trying to do the exercises. After class, I walked over to ask him about membership since I still didn't know costs. He ushered me out the door saying, "Get some rest!" So that was that. No follow up. Ummm, okay.

I've been loving all of my small group and zoom classes here!…read more Brian and Danielle have been great instructors on all of the equipment (I've taken classes on reformer, tower and chair), and I've gotten to try out so many new movements with them. As someone who has previous pilates experience, it's so refreshing to come to a studio where the teachers actually value and teach good form, while making sure you get a good workout and follow social distancing (masks on, everything's disinfected, windows open, etc.). At the same time, there's a great balance for beginners to get comfortable with the movements and equipment, since classes are so small. I brought a friend to her first equipment class a few weeks ago and she had a great time, too. Over zoom, I've had a blast with Dana and Brian. I wasn't really a fan of mat pilates classes before, but they've both taught me new equipment-free exercises and exercises with resistance bands that have helped me stay strong at home.
