The facility is fantastic with a diverse, carefully curated range of high-end machines and exercise gear. Claudia is extremely warm, knowledgeable, and motivating--the three most important characteristics for a personal trainer. I was a serious collegiate athlete back in the day and I have worked with several personal trainers, so I can confirm that Claudia is top notch. My husband (bless his heart) has barely exercised a day in his life. Claudia somehow manages to keep our spirits and heart rates up, while customizing each of our workouts to our individual fitness levels. It's not an easy thing to do, but she does it! Also, she's just really nice (which is not always the case with trainers). The personal training rates for partner sessions are very reasonable, so I highly recommend trying to work out with a buddy if you can!

The staff are all super friendly and always willing to help you before, during, and after classes. I tried my first spin class last night with Mackenzie and have never enjoyed working out as much as I did during her class. She incorporated toning and arm exercises into the routine which was different (loved it). Both the barre and spin classes are in dimly lit studios with neon lights and the BEST music. I've only ever been in classes with women so far which I also like, and even though I'm a newbie I've always felt welcome. This is just what downtown Haverhill was missing. I'm hooked!!

It was so refreshing to be encouraged to breathe loudly and to have flows that incorporate varying asanas, instead of the common ones that every white-washed yoga studio in this country continues to overuse. Not only is the staff great, but the other students are friendly too. They studio is very pretty, with nice art and string lights. The wood floors were a bit hard for me, but I double mat anyway, and Soul City has blankets. I appreciate the open windows and the air filter. I'll be returning whenever I'm visiting home.
