I signed up for the free foundations class, and it was one of the best things I could do for myself. I have been attending Pure Barre Waterford for just over a month now, and I am loving every 50 minute class! Lindsi is the owner, and she is just awesome! Then there are the best instructors like Maggie, Ashley, and Leslie. Just when you want to give in, you have one of these instructors keeping you going while making sure you are getting this barre workout right. I am enjoying the positive environment, the familiar smiling faces when I walk in, and age is just a number around here. There is no judging here, just a place where everyone has a goal to reach, and support all around no matter who you are. If you have been thinking of doing something for "YOU", this is the way to go! Pure Barre is a great all body workout low impact workout but you will be amazed how much your body feels it and the stronger you will get. If you need to modify an exercise due to a back issue, neck issue, hip etc. there is no judgement and everyone is supportive. Don't let the name confuse you, you do not need a ballet background to do this class. The staff in the Waterford studio are very friendly, motivating and amaze me every time. One of the things I love is they offer classes from 5:30 in the morning to 6:30 at night with a modify schedule on the weekends. The studio has plenty of parking and is in a great location that is easy to get to. read more

I absolutely love everything about PBW. The community is so welcoming and supportive. You get to know each member and instructor personally. All of the instructors are wonderful and passionate. Also, with COVID, the appropriate precautions are being taken to ensure everyone's safety. I just love the workout, the environment, and how it makes me feel mentally and physically. As a dancer, I struggled to find a workout I enjoyed. But I have found a great workout I will stick with and will not turn back now! The atmosphere, between the teachers, workout, community, and the music, is just amazing and life-changing. I would definitely recommend PBW 100%. read more

I have been coming here for 2 years now, and as a person that spent my whole life going to gyms and working with personal trainers, I will tell you that I never felt as strong as I do since I started Pure Barre. I spent years with overuse injuries because I never realized I had certain muscle groups that would compensate for ones my body couldn't even activate. I have learned proper form when exercising and have gained the mind-body connection thru their instructions to activate and strengthen every muscle in my body. I have been a member at Pure Barre Waterford for over 2 years...I can't believe i have finally found a workout I am addicted to. I was always one to jump on a new workout trend (HIIT, Crossfit, Zumba etc...) and jumped ship a few months in. This is not the case with Pure Barre it is so much more than a workout. It is a community of inspiring friends all working towards the same goal. The instructors make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Pure Barre Waterford is amazing! This studio has made me a barre addict! The instructors are knowledgeable, helpful and genuine!! There isn't a single instructor here that doesn't go out of their way to say hi, provide positive encouragement or help with form. Pure barre looks easy but is one of the most challenging all body workout. Lift, tone and burn. I love how it is all ages, young adults to older adults. Instructors are great at the Waterford CT studio. The studio is clean and offers classes all times during the day starting at 530 am which is great for us morning people. Pure Barre has been the best thing I've done for my health. I'm over 300 classes in and still find the workout fun and challenging.
