A few years ago I brought in a new dress for alterations. They destroyed the dress and gave me a credit to use for cleaning, not a refund. Fast forward to the present, and I was stupid enough to bring in silk pants to be hemmed and they cut off the harem style band at the bottom and completely changed the look. My outfit was completely ruined. In addition, They were supposed to be delivered and never showed up. They closed the store for 3 days for a holiday so I couldn't get them myself. I needed this outfit for an event and was so upset. I called on Monday morning and they apologized and promised to bring them that evening. Didn't show up for 3 days. When I finally picked them up myself, I was no longer in a hurry since I didn't need them, I was shocked how they changed the style of the pant and basically ruined my outfit. Unlike the Westin, they do not charge by the item ($6/underwear, times 3, that's a new pack of Hanes) they charge by the pound ($40, cash, for 7 days of undergarments and work out clothes). I brought in a brand new suit that had been worn ONE time for routine dry cleaning. When I picked it up, they had shrunk the pants multiple inches, and the jacket had shrunk and had been discolored or faded. I pointed this out, and they said they would fix it. Apparently they have never worked with stretch fabric or performance blends, but I gave them the opportunity to try to fix it. They were able to "unshrink" the pants to an extent, but not to the original length, so they had to use the little fabric left from previous tailoring to add more length, and after all that, they were uneven! And the jacket still looks like it has been dragged through a gravel parking lot. This has been the absolute worst service and experience of my life and just a nightmare. Not sure how they have never worked with spandex or performance materials before in the 19 years they've been around, or why they did not communicate this beforehand, but what I have now is a completely ruined and unwearable suit. After the fact, I spoke to other cleaners in the area, and they were blown away that anyone could botch a routine cleaning this badly. There's nothing salvageable here - my brand new has to be thrown out. The worst part, is they refuse to take any accountability. Any reputable shop would admit their mistake and reimburse the customer if they ruined clothing. Not them. They blamed the fabric. They also hung up on my wife TWICE when she called. My advice is stay far away from this shop. For dry cleaning and alterations. They have no idea what they are doing. If you need alterations, there is an amazing shop a block away (mega Tailors). This happened a few months ago and still deciding on how to handle this, but leaning towards the BBB to potentially recover the cost of the suit and alterations. read more

Do yourself a favor and never go to this dry cleaners. I dropped off a satin green dress and when I picked it up today it had a huge oil stain that wasn't there when i dropped it off. When I picked up my dress I was charged full price ($60) for a simple hemming and no one mentioned the stain. read more

I schlep my clothes and shoes here because this is such a cool business for many reasons. I fully trust that everything I bring here for cleaning or repair will be returned to me and will be fabulous. If you have ever had a not so good experience with dry cleaning... you know what I mean.... Anyway... I tend to drop big batches and come back when convenient. This works well for me and I love going to reclaim my "new" clothes. They only had to call me once or twice to remind me to come and pick up items. And I have needed items in a shorter time frame - the business has always met my needs and exceeded my expectations. I have also had 5+ shoe repairs done here. They do need to send them out and it takes a little longer but that works for me. I have shoes that I love and are hard to replace - Fluvoug, Born boots etc. that are not made anymore. This is my one and only place for dry cleaning and shoe repair. read more

Not sure why this place has such great reviews, I dropped off an Indian outfit and a crop top here for dry cleaning and they were absolutely not cleaned at all. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the alteration work was good. However, they took 4 days and I still left with my clothes pretty much unwashed and the same slight stains on them. Cost me $70 for nothing at this point. When my prior dry cleaners (of 10+ years) permanently closed during COVID, I was working from home and didn't need cleaning. When I returned to work this year, I tried several options in the neighborhood. After visits to several "serviceable" options, I happened into Pure Cleaners. Tina is outstanding for both quality and service. I have several items I launder, she always tells me what to starch and what not to based on the fabric (some will get a shiny sheen when starched). Tina is the best tailor I have ever had, in the many cities I have lived in. She does beautiful work for a very modest cost. I cannot say enough good things about her and her wonderful business, but let me try to count the ways in which Tina is awesome. #1 She gave me an apple saying 'bonus'! the first time she met me, because she believed I 'needed a snack' #2 She finished a complicated fitting for a dress in only a few days, so I had it in time for fancy night out. #3 She will dry clean fast if you need it, and I know I can rely on her to get that interview suit done on time. #4 My favorite thing about Tina is that she is very honest. She will tell you if the alterations you request for a garment do not make sense, instead of just performing the job to make the money. She truly can do almost anything, but above all she is honest. This place is a hidden gem among so many mediocre and over-priced cleaners in the area. I have consistently received the best quality dry cleaning and the friendliest service in the past year. The quality far outweighs any small savings from below-average services such as Pressbox and TideSpin (both of which I have tried multiple times and have had horrible experiences). It's nice to see a friendly face when I drop off my cleaning and have the opportunity to build trust in people. I believe they also offer select delivery services if you live close-by. Tina Chung of Pure Cleaners Valet took amazing care of us. My family and I are on a 10 day vacation and are starting at the Ritz Carlton, a block away from Pure. Needless to say, getting laundry done at the Ritz is crazy expensive. I took Tina a TON of laundry and dry cleaning, including my daughter's winter coat which had honey mustard spilled all over it (the low has been -5 degrees). Tina was able to get all the laundry and dry cleaning finished and nicely folded and packaged for me the same day. The price she charged me for this service was also very reasonable. I'll tell you what, these peeps can hem a pant leg. The nice lady there told me that if it ever comes undone, she'll redo it for free. You can tell the quality of the hem was high. Everyone who works here is wonderful with service, very friendly and never sacrifices quality for fast turnarounds. Tina is especially a mast tailor; I've had many pieces needing attention over the years and she never fails to deliver quality work at a modest price. Most recently, she did alterations for me on a very delicate, high end couture bridesmaid dress.
