Big difference because Groupon has only 30 minutes procedure compare to an hour. I can understand why, it is Sale. But the effect is almost the same , I left the with a glowing clear skin. I am very pleased and satisfy with services and the place is awesomely great , it is clean and not big , not congested waiting area. The reception who was very nice, greeted us with smile, guided us where to sit and Zina, the lady who treated me with Hydrafacial was very pleasant. She explained every steps of the procedure. Not a typical one who pushes to sell their products, she suggested but never pushy, which I hated most because I was there to relax and enjoy the facial, and I I want an opinion on the products I would ask at the end of the service. I tried calling Pure Medical Spa in Skokie but couldn't reach anyone, so I scheduled through text and was told I had an appointment. Later, I was informed there were no Skokie appointments and was offered Roscoe Village at 10:30 AM. I arrived early and waited, but after my appointment time I was told there was no provider available and I could not be seen. I wasted nearly two hours due to a scheduled appointment that should not have been made. Customer service was unable to resolve the issue. This showed poor communication and lack of organization. I made an appointment online with a text confirmation and rushed out of work to get there on time. When I got there the place was dark, closed, no one to be found. They didn't seem to care at all when I finally got someone on the phone and just asked me to reschedule as if I'd even bother trying them again. It's also very odd from the looks of it. Last weekend, I went to pure med spa to receive a chemical peel. The Labor Day "sale" was 50% off. Peels were 300$ original price. When I got to the appointment, the aesthetician told me she was only going to give me 20% off. She did tell me it was the strongest peel they had at the spa. Since I was already there, having driven 30 minutes , I decided to do the peel as she reassured me. It was worth it. I am no stranger to chemical peels; this was indefinitely, a low to medium strength peel from Skinmedica.. End result, a weak peel for 30% more than I should've paid. It's a shame because I think the office itself has potential. However, my phone calls often go to voicemail and I do not receive phone calls or communication back. Trying to refill my medicine is like pulling teeth every month, when I have been a long term client. If there is a brand switch for medication they do not let clients know up front, they just randomly make the change. On a different note, when they randomly switched me to the highest dosage of wegovy, a medicine I had not taken in the past, I felt mild nausea. I asked for a lesser dosage going forward until my body adjusted and instead they switched me back to selmaglutide without my input (if I wanted to continue on weight loss medicine). Other med spas happily provide you with anti nausea medicine or work with you on dosage without switching you from medicine to medicine when common side effects such as nausea pop up. (The consistent switching threw my body out of whack). The male doctor is also rude and condescending. read more

I recently visited Skokie location for platisma band Botox injections, and unfortunately, the experience has been very disappointing. Within min after the treatment my neck felt painful and a visible swelling was noted, I applied a cold compress. Shortly after I developed severe, extensive bruising that went far beyond the typical pinprick marks. All of this during a busy holiday season with many functions I was not able to attend because this large bruise is difficult to conceal. While I understand that complications can happen, the lack of professional follow-up is unacceptable. I reached out to the corporate to report the issue and share photos; I was promised a follow-up call from the medical director, but I have heard nothing back. When you go to a medical spa, you expect a certain level of patient care, especially when things don't go as planned. The lack of communication and accountability here is concerning. I would advise others to look elsewhere for a clinic that prioritizes patient safety and communication. It's clear that once they have your money, they are no longer interested in your well-being or the quality of their work. Proceed with caution. Follow up: Appreciate your response. However, I want to be clear that I do not have the time to come in for a follow-up appointment to discuss an issue that cannot be remedied. Furthermore, I was explicitly promised a call from the Medical Director, which I never received. Instead, you had the injector call me. I have no interest in speaking with the person who caused this issue in the first place. At this stage, I am disappointed in the lack of professional accountability.
