I paid for two packages, each costing $300 (total $600), for laser hair removal on my face and neck. After two years of treatment, unfortunately, I have not seen any change in my hair growth. In fact, I have only experienced more hair growth in these areas. Although I was told that I would see increased but thinner hair growth in areas where it was not previously visible, I at least expected the treated areas to show the results I was anticipating, which was hair removal for a certain period of time. Instead, my money has gone down the drain, as my problem areas not only continue to grow hair in the same way as it did prior to going in for treatment, but now there is additional hair growth in other areas of my face and neck, which has only exacerbated the issue. The staff at the clinic were very kind, but ultimately, the experience was extremely disappointing, considering the substantial amount of money I spent, only to achieve an extremely unsatisfactory and financially regretful result in the end. read more

When I tell my friends the first thing I'm m doing post-quarantine is coming here for a hydra facial I'm not kidding. It did WONDERS for my skin. Not only did my complexion look better and feel SO much better afterwards, but it has really helped my skin care products be more effective. My skin has never looked better. The salon itself is clean and organized, the room where the facial takes place is very relaxing. My esthetician was Mary Ann and she was FANTASTIC. Made me feel super comfortable and explained all the different steps and how it was tailored to my skin. She was very gentle especially during the pore cleaning which can sometimes be a little unpleasant. I seriously could have fallen asleep. Pricing wise the Hydra facial is expensive ($150) but honestly it's less than many spas which can sometimes wander into the $200 range. Frankly I think it's a steal for the quality you're receiving and personally I don't mind paying more for quality especially when it comes to my skin. I do EXTENSIVE research before I go anywhere for my face, hair, or nails and Skinflection was the clear choice. After having received the treatment it only solidified my opinion. My facial gal Maryanne is the sweetest. She is the only one I will let touch my face. I'm dead serious. She is super thorough with her facials, gets to know your skin to customize your facial, gives painless but effective extractions, provides great skincare advise to keep up between sessions and I always leave GLOWING. My favorite treatments are the Environ facial and hydrafacial. Book Maryanne if you're looking for the best facial of your life. They always have new client specials and bundle specials throughout the year! Next up is my laser gal, Amara, who is the best at what she does. She explains everything and what it takes to get the results you want. I have only done my underarms so far, but plan to do Brazilian in the near future. So, I'm going to start by saying what all of my friends told me I would say after starting laser hair removal: I don't know why I waited so long. I wound up stopping by Skinflection Spa one evening after being quoted an outrageous amount at a nearby spa. Several friends had recommended this place previously, and I wish I'd made it my first stop. The distinction between Skinflection and the other business was clear the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted warmly by one of the co-owners, Helen, even without an appointment. After a very short wait, she was able to see me for a consultation. Helen actually took the time to explain the process to me; something the technician at the other spa didn't think was important. Helen also shared visuals that mapped exactly what I could expect when undergoing treatments, and explained the different phases of hair growth. She took the time to answer my questions. It also gave me great comfort knowing she is a nurse, and it was clear she cares very deeply about the safety and well-being of all clients. My body hair has always been something that I am very self-conscious about; God was too generous with hair when designing Assyrian women. Helen made me feel comfortable, and assured me Skinflection is a no-judgement zone. I really appreciated her sincerity. I knew laser hair removal wouldn't be cheap, but I was given a price that was fair and affordable -- and much less than what I'd been quoted at the other spa. She was able to squeeze me in for an appointment for full body laser the following week (something I soon learned is a rarity). I was leaving the country just a few days after my scheduled appointment, so I was cutting it pretty close. I saw Sabrina for my first treatment. She was friendly, funny, and made what would have otherwise been an awkward experience (it's not normal to expose oneself to strangers) a good one. By the time we were done (about an hour or so), it felt like we were friends. She took a few minutes at the start of my treatment to explain the machine, which she noted is the newest out there. The pain wasn't that bad. Actually, it wasn't very painful at all, really, apart from the underarms and parts of the Brazilian -- where I felt just a pinch. The results were incredible. Sabrina explained that I would start to see results 10-12 days after my treatment. I waited as the days passed, eager, hoping that this would finally be the solution. I was tired of years of shaving and waxing. I have to say, I was thrilled with the results I saw after a single treatment. Some areas stopped growing altogether, and where it did grow back, it fell out. After just a single treatment. I went back and was seen by Amara. At first, I was hesitant to see someone new, but she was equally lovely and kind. She completed my treatment swiftly and again there was a sense of comfort. I am already beginning to see a serious reduction in hair growth. This is undoubtedly one of the best investments I have ever made. I didn't intend to write this much -- but there are just so many great things to say about Skinflection and their staff. I LOVE THIS PLACE! I am there every four weeks for a procedure, whether it is laser, facial, micro, chem peel. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I was initially referred by a friend and I cannot get enough. Everyone here treats you like family. I don't feel self conscious or nervous while undergoing a procedure. I was recommended to this place by my niece right after I moved back from Houston. I had few face sessions done in Houston but did not notice much difference and also it used to be extremely painful. I decided to give Skinflection a try after reading their positive yelp reviews. I called to make an appointment for face but ended up making an appointment for full body! Their prices are very reasonable in comparison to other laser places plus they have an awesome welcoming and knowledgeable staff. I initially started my session with Helen and that was a great experience but since I can only go on Saturdays so my current laser technician is Amara and I couldn't be happier! Amara has a strong attention to detail which is something very important when it comes to laser because you have to monitor the hair growth and follow up on results and change settings based on that. There are few parts on my body that are just painful for me regardless of any setting and she helps me get through it by icing it or distracting me (it's almost over Mehwish, lol). When it comes to following results she will ask me exactly what are the places on my body that I see growth and what parts needs more attention and will work around sessions based on the results.
