She's warm and personable, has a great eye for balance and symmetry, and never recommends something I don't need. Her work is consistently excellent--natural, polished results with no surprises (and no droopy lids). Colleen is a true gem and I recommend her highly to anyone looking for an experienced, trustworthy injector.

I was pleasantly surprised by this office…read more One of the staff, Bogusia helped me schedule an appointment via email and she was really responsive. I had emailed on a Tuesday or Wednesday and she scheduled me for that Friday, so it was nice not to have to wait too long for an appointment. Sometimes it can feel like dermatology or cosmetic office staff are silently judging you behind their desk, but everyone was really friendly and nice. They also didn't seem to be in a huge rush to get me out the door and onto the next person. This really mattered to me because I've had a difficult time finding an office that would give me a second to think about my questions. Initially Dr. Aditya Sood offered about 25 units of Botox for my 11's. I said I usually only got around *max* 15 units. (A previous dermatologist I had in another state told me to be conservative because I didn't *need* a lot of Botox, and the more you use the more you need eventually). I explained that 15 units would last many months for me. Dr. Sood said if I had great results with 15 units then he was open to giving me 15 units. That kind of validation without much pushing was welcome since I've been to places that want to give me more Botox than I want. He did tell me that because I was only getting my 11's done, it might cause the forehead to overcompensate when using an expression since my eyebrows won't be able to anymore until the Botox wears off again. I told Dr. Sood that I had problems with fainting in the past (not from Botox but because I get anxious with needles) and he laid me back a little bit and quickly gave me the injections. I was surprised that he didn't use an ice pack to numb the forehead first, and I did ask him about it after. He said that because the needle used for Botox is so small and it really doesn't hurt much, that icing the area wasn't necessary and adds a bunch of time sitting in the chair for the patient for no reason. To be honest, I actually liked that he just injected me quickly without ice because it didn't give me enough time to get anxious about the needle! And it mostly felt like a deep mosquito bite. One of the most important things I'd like to note, is that I usually get a slight and prolonged headache after Botox. With Dr. Sood, I have not gotten a headache. The last place I went to (Illinois Dermatology Institute) actually gave me an *awful* migraine that lasted into the next day. I had to call out of work! I am thinking that doctor either used bad product, or injected too deeply/hit a nerve. Dr. Sood was so gentle and quick - he obviously knows his stuff! I'm looking forward to coming back to this office in the future when I need more Botox or would like a different procedure done. Their friendliness, customer service, efficiency and skill shines through.

This review is mainly for the front desk "employee" named Kelly at this office. Emphasis on…read moreemployee because I am dumbfounded how she is still employed here or at all. Very rude and highly incompetent. No emotional intelligence and incredibly disrespectful. I've had a few negative interactions with her but this is the first time I am leaving a review to reflect that. The front desk is the face & voice of a medical office and she is not doing what needs to be done. After asking to speak to the manager Alyssa today, the front desk person hung up on me because she cannot control her emotions nor can she stand the truth she was being told. If this office keeps her employed any longer they are clearly showing their true intentions towards patient/client care which is hostile and toxic. Very upsetting and disappointing how this office is ran now. Been coming here for years for facials and the unprofessionalism I have experienced here is outrageous. WOW! Shame on you Kelly! Dr. Cohen my mother came to you and got an eye procedure done years ago and referred me to your in house esthetician Aggie. Your office clearly does not care about long term clients and respect. The office manager Elissa is a coward and does not call clients back when requested but send gaslighting letters to my home about accountability and restating things I have said to their office because they are unoriginal and unprofessional. There are many other medical professionals out there so good riddance, ugh disgusting.
