Not sure there is any 'professional' staff there. Employee turnover is CRAZY!…read more I began going to this business in January or February of 2012. I found them through a groupon, and decided to try a 3 month membership for $99. When I iniitally arrived, I assumed I would have a consultation with some sort of a specialist. I saw a woman who's name and title I did not hear. She sat me down, took a camera to my head, and pointed out all of the follicles. I assumed they would somehow record or document the initial stage that I was at. They did not. No picture taken, no video of the follicles, nothing. I signed a contract with them for 3 months of therapy. At that time, a brief summary was given of the alternate products they also sold, but when I expressed interest in possibly using one, the woman told me to wait, to see how my head did with just the therapy. She also showed me some of their regular prices, which were quite staggering. I was told that after the first laser session, all shedding of hair would stop. Results are not guaranteed, but that most people see results within 6 to 12 months, with very fine hair starting to regrow. Thus began my therapy. By the second week, the person I had consulted with was gone. There was now a new face (#2). Not that I ever did anything but say 'hi' to her. The routine was, schedule two appointments each week. They can't be two days in a row. The office is closed on Sundays and Mondays. My appointments were Tuesdays and Thursdays bright and early since the beginning. The appointments were for 30 minutes under the laser. By about 6 wks into my 'therapy', there was a new front desk person (#2). The initial therapy was very routine. Every now and then, I would forget about an appointment. I would call, and they were pretty good about rescheduling. At the 3 month mark, I anticipated going under the camera again, to see if they saw any improvement. I didn't see any. Well, the new gal came in, and offered me a great new sign-up deal. She did NOT offer to review my case with me. I just figured it probably hadn't been enough time at that point, since it had only been 3 months, and not the 6 I had been told about. I took the deal, and signed up for another 6 months (I think). I kept coming. I forgot or was too busy rarely, and they were pretty good about rescheduling. They even ended up saying that I had purchased a specific amount of times under the laser, so if I did not make it in (when I went on vacation for example), they would just extend my contract by that week or two, so that I could get in those visits. At one point, I had forgotten about an appointment, and the receptionist called me to tell me that they charge $25 for missed visits. She said she'd waive the fee this time, but they needed to know if I was going to cancel. That made sense, as I could reschedule and they were extending the contract. Ah yes - and within a few weeks of the renewal, a new receptionist (#3) was brought in. I kept coming. It was a pretty well established routine by now. Around Aug/Sept I suddenly experienced a LOT of hair loss. I had been coming in for two days every week for months... (My birthday is in Sept, so every time I took a shower, all I could think was "Happy Birthday to me". :( UGH. ) And at some point in all of this, they brought in a new office mgr (#3). The 'specialist' was the office mgr. Within the past month or two my contract came up for renewal again. The receptionist approached me to let me know I was coming up for renewal, not the office mgr. I told her I wasn't interested. She scheduled me to see the office manager to actually take a look at my scalp again. So, I sat down with the woman after one of my treatments. She had no way to know where I started and how I was doing. However, I did have a pretty good idea. When I began the program, the first person I spoke with showed me several follicles on my scalp where 2 & 3 hairs were growing. Several others had none, but she said that my follicles would be strengthened by the laser, & would begin to grow more, thicker, hairs. So, we looked at my head. The woman had a hard time finding follicles, and the ones she found had 1 hair, if I was lucky. She never mentioned we were looking for multiple hairs. When I did (& the hair loss), she didn't have an answer. She said it takes up to a year to see results & sold me Spectral DNC (alt. Rogaine). I began this, & renewed. (I want to follow thru with the year.) This time it was for 15 or 20 minute visits, & only the months I'd contracted for. They were no longer extending the sessions. Enter receptionist #4. I missed 2 visits this week - I had to help a friend. The new receptionist called to tell me they could charge the $25 for not canceling. This makes no sense, as I'm not rescheduling the visits, and I paid for them. She had an attitude. With no results after a year, I'm finally calling it quits.
