He took my medical history and asked me the end goal of Hijama. Before the procedure he explained in details everything that would happen during and after the procedure. I looked at the prices and they were a little higher than other places I found. When I looked at the reviews, I could see why. Vive appeared to know what they were doing. I made my appointment online. Easy peasy. I get a phone call the next day. Oh no, are they going to reschedule me? No indeed. They were asking me about the medications I was on, my medical history and what I was looking for in a massage. I was impressed. Never have any of my massage companies asked me all this information. My massage was today and I went in. Nice looking office and waiting area. They have a parking lot. Place was clean, personable ladies at the desk. They took me to a separate waiting area that was dim and relaxing. I filled out a form with all my information. Orion came out and brought me in. I would say she sat with me a good 10 minutes, discussing my history and asking questions. Then she asked again about what pressure I wanted. She was very vocal about telling me if the pressure is too hard to be sure to let her know. What I experienced was wonderful. She had a nice firm touch and seemed to take a lot of time doing what she needed to do. By the time I was done, I was really relaxed. Whenever we have someone in town, we book a massage. It's a win-win and everyone looks forward to it. I wish I had their picture post massage when they've transcended for the first time haha. Anyway, Kevin and staff are always warm, professional, and welcoming. We've had Erika and Wendy the last two times and will be requesting them by name. No doubt everyone does a great a gob. We book the couples massage typically and it runs about $105 for 90 minutes. Sometimes there are coupons, but either way, you can't beat that deal. Especially since they are so receptive to feedback and adjusting. This is also a mix of Thai and traditional- our favorite style of massage.

But was very difficult to understand. I can definitely be OK with heavy accents and other languages. That's not what bothered me at all. When we got there, five minutes before our appointment, there was a miscommunication, and she thought we were getting full body massages. Again, it was challenging to communicate, but we finally both understood. Our massages were run-of-the-mill. Nothing exciting or even fantastic. And at $60 for 30 minutes, I expected a ton more. I've had way way way better foot massages for much less $$ The place is small and a bit run down Parking may be an issue during high volume time as they share a space with other businesses.
