Unfortunately, my experience was completely ruined by an administrative and billing oversight that ended up costing me significantly out of pocket. Prior to my first visit, I confirmed with both my insurance and this office that they were in-network. I obtained a referral from my primary care doctor and presented it to the front desk at my first appointment. They accepted the paperwork without question and proceeded with my treatment. It wasn't until after my second visit--and after having my primary doctor redo and resubmit the referral--that I learned the initial paperwork accepted by the front desk was invalid. Despite making numerous attempts to resolve this with billing, filing an appeal with my insurance, and escalating the issue directly to the practice manager, the office refused to take responsibility. My insurance company confirmed that the practice should never have accepted improper documentation or proceeded without valid authorization. Because of their front-desk mistake, both of my visits were processed out-of-network, leaving me stuck with a very expensive bill. It is incredibly disappointing that practice management wouldn't own up to an administrative error made by their own staff. While the medical care is good, the lack of billing integrity and customer accountability makes it hard to recommend this practice. Protect your wallet and double-check everything yourself if you choose to go here.

After some time, I was told by the receptionist that I did not have an appointment. I explained that I had called to schedule it and even showed my phone records as proof. Rather than trying to resolve the issue or look into what may have gone wrong, she repeatedly insisted that I did not have an appointment. When I suggested she check with the staff member who handled scheduling that day, she dismissively stated she didn't need to "have a conversation about something that never happened." At that point, the situation became less about the appointment and more about her approach. Her tone was condescending and unprofessional. When she said, "Anyways, so you were supposed to have an appointment at 10:30?" it felt dismissive and disrespectful--especially given that I was calmly trying to explain and provide proof. As a medical professional of 14 years, I understand that scheduling errors can happen. However, how those situations are handled is what matters. I would never speak to a patient this way, especially in a healthcare setting where empathy and professionalism should be the standard. Because of this interaction alone, I chose to leave and not proceed with the appointment. It's very unfortunate, bc I genuinely think highly of Dr. Danek, but this experience with the front desk staff is enough for me to not return again unless it's rectified.

I'm sure that all the docs and assistants do it all also but to have that one special person that does only that, well, it meant a lot to me. I only went to this doctor and didn't check pricing at other places, so I'm not sure if the procedure pricing is comparable to other offices. It seemed a little high, but the customer service was very good - they always run on time, answer the phone immediately when you call, and give a courtesy call the next day after you have a procedure to make sure you're doing okay. The pricing is the only reason for 4-star review instead of a 5-star review.

I always know what to expect, appointments are timely and easy to make, and my doctor is open and honest with me. If I want something done and he doesn't think it will do much good, he's honest about that. That's what truly stands out. An independent medical practice where they aren't trying to just receive money and add unnecessary procedures. What's more is the wide variety of languages spoken by staff.
