Great waxing spot! I recently moved to the area and just found this place. Everyone was very friendly and they did a fantastic job! They are also very careful with COVID restrictions. I have been to a lot of different waxing places all over the country and this is my favorite. It is in a cute spot in downtown Hinesville. They offer sugaring which I really liked. Very unprofessional owner. First visit I excuse the fact I requested one wax and 2 other waxes were tried. Second visit over book 3rd visit owner denied services because she could not properly justify having my card number for a service that's already paid for. Admitting it was their fault but very confrontational about the entire appointment that was 1hr away and denied services telling me to go request a refund. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. how I wish I could give less than one star, after looking at the website and social media platforms I was scammed to believe I was going into a peaceful, and professional establishment that was run by a woman who was knowledgeable to the buisness that she was running especially since she makes it appear online like she is mentoring her staff. the pictures online will fool you to think its a professional beautiful historical building in the heart of Hinesville Georgia. the owner comes down stairs fussing at her employees who are young girls. while waiting I could tell her in her family live there. the owner mrs pinckett was upstairs arguing with a man I thought it was her son, but she made it very ghetto and clear that he was he husband. which was very overwhelming for me seeing i was supposed to be comfortable enough to get undressed for a wax. I immediately let her know i was not comfortable in this scammer charged my card $165 for a vagina wax i did not receive and told me when I later asked to call my bank and dispute! SHE NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN! I WAS SCARED FOR MY LIFE AND UNCOMFORTABLE IN THAT BUISNESS! Her anatomical knowledge and excellent bedside manor make her a master at her craft, and you can tell from her enthusiasm that she has her heart invested in what she does. This salon gets zero stars. Their customer service is abysmal. I tried calling multiple times to let them know I would be late. They did not pick up. I then showed up 3 minutes past their grace period and they argued with me for 20 minutes about a 25 dollar late fee. They told me they couldn't see me until an hour later even though Vagaroo showed that the wax tech had the next available appointment and there was NO ONE in the studio with several employees working. They called me a liar to my face and laughed at me. Their laziness is incredible. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!!!!!!! You will regret it. They will steal your deposit and refuse to serve you if they are inconvenienced in the slightest. The attitude was unreal. read more

The staff is amazing! Laticia does all first time Brazilians. She's the owner and an absolute pleasure to meet. She's very professional as are all of the employees. I was able to have a stress free first time Brazilian sugar wax. Please choose this option because there is minimal discomfort after you leave the salon. The first time i visit this place everything was cool ALTHOUGH they didn't wax all the hair, but it was cool I ain't complain. The owner told me before I left she would keep in contact with me to make sure I was doing well after my first wax, and she made it CLEAR that I would be notified of my next appointment being that it was so far away. First thing first she never followed up to make sure I was okay after my first time waxing like she said she would, & mind you I am a very busy person being that I'm in the military so that was the last thing on my mind but I rest assured knowing that when the time came I would be notified when my appointment was near. So these fraudulent fuckers took it upon themselves to withdraw $133 from me, without notifying me of my appointment and then lied about notifying me. However the devious owner got upset with me because I'm upset about my money being taken out of my account after I've been on a fucking training mission without phone service to even contact these crooks and she hung up on me and told me to take it up with my bank. So I will do so ! But I want every future customer to take in consideration that you're dealing with fraudulent ass people. read more

I am a former worker at Pure Wax Cafe, it was a terrible work experience. I worked their for about a month and decided to venture off, due to the lack of professionalism, extreme rudeness and unrealistically low pay. The Owner LaTicia is a manipulator so she'll try to make it seem, like she's their to help and build you up and she has nothing but knowledge for you. But once you're in she try's the belittle you, make it seem like you're making the wrong decision and she's always right and she's some highly praised goddess. As my boss she told me I wasn't bringing shit to table because I was freshly out of cosmetology school (these were her exact words). Let me start by saying I only put one star because that was the lowest I could go in order to post this review, it should be zero. The owner herself is very unprofessional in the sense that she schedules customers appointments with HER but arrives on her own time, forcing her other employees to start for her. On top of this, she treats her employees like shit. They don't get paid enough and she often doesn't pay them at all and tries to stall on when she'll have their money. She blames her reasoning on the personal inconveniences in her life as to why she can't pay them on time. There is also a family living upstairs in the salon, all around unprofessional. read more

UNPROFESSIONAL! After playing phone tag with different employees to get an appt, they called me to cancel my appt less than 24 hrs in advance. Then when I had to reschedule for later in the week (health issue) they charged my card for the FULL amount of the service bc I called TWENTY THREE hrs in advance instead of 24! SCAMMER! Will be going to Wax and Wane in Savannah where they know what professionalism means. read more
