This place is awesome. Great variety of wines, aging techniques & flavors. Great spot for parties or a quiet date night per my wife (she really loves when we go here) *she gets the glitter bomb Bourbon Barrel "indulgence".

a bottle of champagne and a glass of wine

I love this spot!!! It's super cool inside with a really cool wine press piece + cozy couches & fireplace + table & bar seating a great private room for small groups. Hosted my bookclub (aka wine drinking nights) here a few different times - Jenn & David the owners were super friendly & put out a beautiful Grazytable for us to much on & the last time they had fabulous glitter bombs to enhance the beauty of the already delish wine. **perfect for Instagram. I love Purgatory Cellars soo much, go there asap!!

The best place to end date night in Castle Rock. David and Jen are amazing hosts and the wine is delicious!

I really liked all the savory sandwiches. The curry chicken salad sandwich really stood out, though the cucumber and turkey sandwiches were both tasty as well. Really amazing location for tea time, we had the options for lavender earl gray, mandarin orange and spiced chai tea. All amazing but I would always gravitate towards earl gray. Definitely recommend to give them a try if you're into afternoon tea time. I liked it better than the Brown Palace.

There was a large covered tent area outdoor for the ceremony with plenty of room for tables and a dance floor and great times. There was a bit of a walk for those with mobility issues, but we took is slow with crutches and made it to the main area. The bathrooms were easily accessible and the food was amazing. Not sure if the wedding was catered by another company or the castle itself. Definitely recommend for a great venue!

Unbelievable experience and worth every penny!…read more We were so excited to to experience this after years of seeing scenic train rides online. It was on our must do list for our first time in colorado. We purchased tickets online about a month before our trip. The one con is you may be seated with people outside your party depending on the table. I wish they would put this disclaimer online so we could've purchased an extra seat to have that privacy and comfortability. The views were immaculate especially with the fresh powder. All the staff on board were great and attentive. The food was pretty good too. I opted for the chicken sandwich; which was flavorful and juicy. We really enjoyed the bar cart LOL and the open air cart was perfect for the views and pictures. Cons: we found a hair in our welcome cookie and with the price of admission i wish we had our own table and space. Overall, i would recommend taking the family and loved ones on this experience.

Booked a Andalusia, Spain tour in October with Edible Destinations. Had never done this type of…read moretrip before. Came across an email talking about Edible Destinations tours. Did some research and found no warnings about company. Booked the trip and about a month out contacted Mike and asked about a finalized itenarary. He stated we are working on it will have by end of week. Should have been my first sign. Got the itenerary and hotels had changed but that seemed minor. About two days before we left on tour got urgent email asking for some verifications of info and giving name and contact info for our guide. Arrived in Malaga, Spain and could not find our guide he was not with the rest of the tour operators. Another sign. Called hi on cell phone and he answered and was literally 20 feet away. His only sign was an 8 X 11 sheet of paper with Epitourean written on it. Another sign. He was totally confused and in panic mode. Another sign. later found out he was literally hired the day before. Is it adding up? Got on bus after we gathered up everyone else. Got to hotel and it was a true 5 star. everyone got checked in to rooms. We met that evening a got a short walking tour of Malaga as we walked to restaurant. Wonderful experience. The next morning was the beginning of nothing being as advertised. eventually got to every place we were supposed to visit but nothing was as promised. Were supposed to have atapas and wine tasting at a vineyard and see the process got cheese and ham and a glass of wine. Every day was the same confusion. Oscar our guide was doing most of the coordinating on his own, trying to make sure that we received what was promised. On the second day I emailed Mike about our difficulties and didn't receive a reply until end of trip. Several other members of the group were doing the same and were being ignored. One of the group was a travel agent and she started working the phones, just what you want to do on vacation. but things never did get better. Oscar took us to other places not on itenerary these were highlights of trip. $10,000 in funds spent plus airfare and incidentals and no one seems to care. It is my understanding in talking to Oscar several weeks after the trip he had still not been paid. Edible Destinations happily pointed to the small print that the were not liable for short comings of their foreign partners. The did offer a small partial refund and a voucher for a discount on a future trip. Would I book another trip with Edidble Destinations by Epitourean? Not for free or if they paid me. Couldn't trust them to get it right.Stay away
