Now the second year they said it will cost $200 to replace all three filters, Now they want $300. They have not given any documentation how to replace the filters. There was this persistent issue at my house after someone tore out a gas dryer in December 2020,…read morewhich culminated in the gas company "isolating" (ie, disabling) my stove. I called Joe at 5 on a Friday, and he got someone out to me at 8AM Saturday. It was a little more complicated than expected, and he sent his guy out Sunday too, to fix something. After the gas people came back to explain their work, Joe and Pete found the issue, located a gas leak in the crawl space, fixed it, hooked the stove back up, helped me figure out a broken fixture, and finished up in a little over an hour. (As soon as I heard "gas leak in the crawl space" I was bracing for weeks of no stove and expensive work, but this wasn't the case.) In all, pricing was reasonable, response was always fast (by phone and in person), my stove works, and they made sure everything done by an iffy handyman was no longer dangerous. In my search for plumbers, I noticed that all area plumbers had mixed reviews. Also, as he was leaving it came up that he knows my uncle and does work for him, and my uncle is a SUPER diligent perfectionist about home repairs and safety, and my uncle would definitely only use a great plumber. And he's a great plumber.

Initial issue for calling a plumber was low water pressure and concerned about back water flow from irrigation system getting into potable water. Then added to the job...I needed two sink faucets replaced, needed to replace the main water shut off to a ball valve as a precaution and replaced washing machine shut off valves also as a precaution. They spoke to my elderly father who I care for and loves with me, he approved the work to install a pressure reducing valve of all things when number one complaint was low water pressure. Next they installed a double check back flow preventer entering the boiler. My boiler service company came out for routine annual service and was shocked when they saw it. It should have been installed to the outlet for the irrigation system. Boiler tech said multiple times that he couldn't believe it unless he saw it. Job by Paul's Way was completed in June... didn't need to use the boiler for heating the home until winter. Well, once the heat was turned on, I had air getting into the baseboard radiators. Thank goodness I had a service contract for the boiler cause they came out to purge the air out but unexpectedly and consequently came out three times more to purge air out again and again. They highly recommend I take Paul's Way to small claims if they didn't fix what the issue. I called Paul's Way, a service tech came out and said THIER OWN PLUMBER SHOULD HAVE INSTALLED ANOTHER PART AND TO FIX WHAT THE OTHER TECH DIDNT DO IT WILL BE $1600. I already paid Paul's Way $3700 for the work mentioned above. That was the quote for the job, the total job and then they try to up sell me for more work. They don't stand behind their work. They will give excuses and try to make you pay more for something that should've been done in the first place. There was no hidden surprises here, they incorrectly installed /plumbed in parts in the wrong position and/or didn't install was necessary for a completed job. Highly don't recommend Paul's Way and I always recommend great people who take pride in their field of work.

Andrew was great! He went above and beyond. Instead of a simple "yes, everything works, here's your paperwork to give the bank," he pointed out things to us that may become problems down the road - things we wouldn't expect a cesspool guy to care about, like the windowsill in the shower being low enough that water may seep in and damage it over time - and he was patient enough to explain Cesspools 101 to the two of us who, until now, have only lived in places with sewers. I hope we don't need to call for a cesspool service any time in the near future, but if we do, we'll be calling Andriola's.
