I also understand that some people will only post if they had a bad experience and not necessarily take the time to always post positive reviews too. Aerotek came in for an estimate for free, but then they wanted to charge me for the electronic file estimate if I wanted the details. They did also say beforehand that they would apply the charge to the charge of the work if I went with them. After my estimation in-person with Aerotek, I felt they would've done a good job with my work. The conversation was professional and the details we discussed were reasonably thorough. I went with someone else because I felt they would do the same work for a lot less. The only other review I see about this place had a mold issue, and their website says they deal well with mold. I can't speak for their mold services, but seems like a decent choice for regular duct cleaning or dealing with smoke issues inside ducts.

I simply asked for that to be tested and a remediation plan outlined if needed. He seemed to understand that clearly. He does the job and after 4-5 days of no report, I call him and he sends out the report 2 whole days later. In the home buying process, time is of the essence. The report only outlined an air quality test, not the surface inspection or testing that was asked for! He didn't even right down what he saw on exam. So after considerable back and forth between myself and the tech, as well as my realtor and the tech, he said he would write something up. Well, a week goes by and I hear nothing from him. At this point, the sellers are frustrated and so am I. I call Aerotek and speak with someone who I can only assume is a supervisor. I explain the situation to him. I told him that I do not want anything fluffy or in excess of what they feel is necessary to fix the issue. I just want an assessment of what the tech SAW and how to remove it. He very confidently states that he understands and will have it to me before Monday (it was Friday). Well I didn't get any type of report or analysis from them and I wasted my $325. Save yourself time and aggravation and do not use Aerotek in South Jersey.

The ground floor of the townhouse that incurred the backup is small (400sf) so there was not much space to move the contents out of the way. Ian also explained the insurance limitations for a level 3 backup when the homeowner insurance as written neglects to reference the HOA master policy. Overall EC Restoration works better with homeowners than the big national water remediators, which is why our adjuster uses this business. We are lucky to have them for this (hopefully) once in a lifetime event.

We received some information indicating that there may have been a fuel tank removed from the property (in the past). The sellers did not have paperwork indicating that there was no evidence of leaking or contamination. I contacted Pete and he was able to quickly help me understand the laws, rules and regulations for how the Cherry Hill Township permits and Department of Environmental Protection process worked. He then helped by providing a quick lookup and discovered that there was an open case with the DEP that indicated that there was evidence of the fuel tank leaking. This issue had not been remediated.
