AVOID. ZERO STARS. Purolator delivered my clearly labelled package to the wrong address. In the wrong city. Took time off work to drive to the branch closest to the delivery address according to Purolator tracking info - a Burnaby branch. A Purolator employee at that depot confirmed to us that our package had indeed been delivered to an incorrect address (not even remotely close so...why?) and in the "entirely wrong city". Managers on duty were 'too busy' to speak with me, but I was told they would speak to the driver and then a manager would get back to me. Zero apology, zero accountability. So, that was a week ago and nada, we have not heard a peep from anyone from Purolator. During this week of waiting to hear back, I took more time off work and went to the address where my package was logged as delivered - an office building. There, I spoke to multiple departments, and was repeatedly told that no package in my name had ever been delivered to that location, so, now, it's officially lost. I actively avoid ordering anything that gets shipped Purolator but sometimes you don't know which service a company will use to send your online purchase. They will not ring the doorbell and then leave a notice. Then if you request redelivery and fill out the back of that delivery slip, and tape it to your window in exactly the same place they left it, they'll just take it and leave another delivery slip. It's like dealing with a braindead automaton, only capable of leaving delivery slips rather than actually delivering a parcel. I used their online chatbot, which seems far more intelligent than any of their drivers. It says to leave a note with this information: Attention Purolator Inc. driver: This is to authorize you to leave my shipment(s) at the door. Printed name of customer, Signature of customer, Date, Address, Package Identification Number(s). I'll try that next, and be more diligent about ensuring I don't order from any companies that deliver with Purolator in the future. What an absolutely waste of time and energy. I can't believe companies like this still exist, the invisible hand should have swept this service off of the market decades ago. read more

Poor service. Delivery staff doesn't try or take an extra mile to reach out the customer/ receiver. They will phone within 1 or 2 ring and you were unable to answer the call they will return the parcel to their sorting facility then you have to reach out their customer care which delays for the customer to receive the parcel. It happened to us twice and I would say service was really poor. I hope they would give training to their employees on doing an extra mile or above and beyond for the customer. read more

Another "fake" delivery attempt. This happens so often it's insane. Well if you're frustrated as much as I am, I learnt today that through Amazon, you can ask them to create a ticket in your file, stating which courier you do not want to deal with. Problem solved. worst service in the business. 1) 1cm of snow on 1/28 and they updated my delivery as no access to road. 2) last time i called customer service i requested a call back, which never came I always cringe when I see that anything is being sent via purolator the street and my driveay had some packed snow but it was fully accessible. i walked out on the street to check. I spoke with CS and they said it sounded like the driver did not want to deliver, they offered to file a complaint and asked for a redliver. purloator did not deliver my package again. yesterday they could have but the driver canceled it at 9am. we had several inches of snow today, 1/29, i appreciate that the roads became bad. but they could have delivered it in the morning. im 7 min from the sorting center and i should be at the begining of the delivery route. at about 330pm they canceled todays delivery due to the weather. purolator will now cost me 3 days at a minimum. this is a large, expensive delivery and someone has to be home to receive it. read more

Can't believe that this company don't provide any same day solutions, once the shipping is missed it's a hell of a time trying to get something delivered or for pick up, as a company the customer goes last, not the fault of the drivers or agents but policies and "rules", so bad that you have to wait for days or weeks for it to be re delivered or for pick it up on the same day. I can sit at home for the whole day and miss the delivery just because no one called me (they never tried). Or even better on the next day: I provided the clearest instructions of how to deliver, but still I will receive a silent call for a sec, and now I'm the one to blame for missed delivery. Package dropped of on the 14th of December and was told 4 days delivery. December 27th and it still has not been delivered. Since the 20th they claim weather delays even though the weather is fine. I have seen complaints from people dating back to early December so when I dropped it off on the 14th they knew it would not arrive in 4 days but still took the package and lied about it. All the packages I sent through UPS were delivered as promised and on time. read more

Did not notify me day of delivery, and called my buzzer code once before leaving. Did not get a chance to answer. When calling to reschedule delivery, 45minute wait time every time. Called to reschedule, didnt come on the day, and instead it said still for pickup. Called again, another long wait, person said its there for pickup but can be re-sent out. I agreed. Then the weekend and Monday go by, still nothing, still says its for pickup on the tracking. Call again, and she confirms its there for pickup, so I told her I will go and I would like a refund for the shipping fee since I need to pick it up. She said its not eligible for refund. THEN, tracking says its out for delivery right after that phone call! So I call AGAIN to clarify, and its still there for pickup. Went to pick it up, and the gentleman there helping me find the area to go was very nice, and no hiccups during this pickup, which is the only reason for 2 stars. I still plan to raise a stink about my shipping fee. read more

BUSINESSES BEWARE!! BUSINESSES BEWARE!!! Sent 4 packages between November 28th and December 5, should take 3-4 business days at most. As of December 12th still NONE of them have been delivered. Tracking says weather delays for the last week, there is no bad weather, just typical Canadian winter cold, not even snow. Tried contacting them by phone or chat, on hold for more than 1 1/2 hours on both without being put in contact with anyone. Still waiting.... They have taken on more shipments because of the season and the Canada Post strike and can't handle the volume. If you can't service your existing customers , both through the service that you have been paid for as well as through customer service, you shouldn't take on extra business. Updated and confirmed address 3 times and still they claim address is wrong, even when it confirms from their site that the address is in their system. Manager from Hell The driver did not knock on my door, leaving only a note so that I would have to pick up the package myself. I was home all day. When I called to talk about options, the same unhelpful response was repeated over and over by the customer service representative. I asked to speak with a manager, hoping they could be more helpful. The manager, Devon, ID 71056, was immediately snippy with me. He spoke in a condescending tone and did not try to help me at all. He actually told me off. Was I irritated? For sure, since I was not getting help, but I only explained my situation. I did NOT say anything nasty and I was still kind with manners (asking please). It was shipped to the small rural area I live in then because it had only a box number they sent it to Prince George, BC which is about 4 to 5 hours away. Tried tracking the package and it has sat in the Purolator facility there for 6 days. when I contacted Purolator they said I had to contact the shipper to make the address correction. So I have, Twice, I tried a live chat with Purolator this morning and was told that the my name and address are not the proper ones for that tracking number. Why would Purolator pick up a package that they knew they couldn't deliver to a box number? Some how their tracking has to pick up on a box number instead of a physical address. read more

I was expecting a package which was taking longer than expected. It turns out that the driver "attempted" delivery (I was home and no call or knock) but they claim no response. Beyond that the driver did not leave a slip letting me know I could pick it up. Zero indication that my package had arrived. When I called Purolator they told me that the driver has no obligation to leave a slip. When I asked how would I know it arrived they said it was my responsibility to track it. A few weeks later I'm waiting expected a money draft to arrive. Once again no call or knock. Turns out they went to my neighbours and attempted delivery to his address so once again was not delivered. I registered a complaint both times and was promised it would not happen again, I was also assured someone would call md back to follow-up. Still waiting several weeks later. Vivian: manager from hell Had an issue and called for help. Spoke with the most rude, abysmal manager Vivian I've ever encountered! How someone with such a sour, horrible attitude was ever promoted to manager is beyond me. Vivian should be fired. She was dismissive after to told her the issue she literally said "what do you want me to do about it?" And that was after a long minute pause where I was like "hello are you still there?" She would basically tune out and walk away from the phone whenever I spoke it seemed as she would not reply when i was done talking and I had to prompt her repeatedly "aren't you going to say anything" because she'd just be dead silent and never reply.
