I reached out for a quote and received a quick reply from the owner, Ricardo. I was timid about a mobile service and the potential of hiring a real person, but was reassured by Ricardo of the process and he answered all of the questions I had in a very proficient/professional manner. We were able to schedule an appointment for the following day. I received a confirmation email and text message. I was alerted the day of when he was on his way, the link provided an ETA and a tracker for his location. He arrived early and walked me through the process. I received a text when it was completed, and was able to pay via the link. Overall my the process was 10/10. It is always nerve wracking having someone come to you rather than dropping it off at a detail store lot, but I can TRULY say I will never go back to the traditional storefront. The experience was comfortable, it was convenient, and I will specifically go through Fresh Wash 305 in the future. I cannot say enough good things! As for the actual cleaning--my mind was blown. I needed a full deep cleaning of the inside and the outside. I hadn't gotten it cleaned in about a year so there was a lot of grime, which I know required scrubbing. I was considering selling my car, but after receiving in back from Ricardo it feels like a new car. I have been THRILLED driving around in it and it genuinely feels like a whole new vehicle. Chris, owner and operator of Splashy's Mobile Detailing responded to my request for quotes and [very affordable] rates caught my eye. I'll admit that I was skeptical at first, especially since he did not have any reviews or testimonials to back up his work, but I decided to take a chance...and I'm glad I did. Chris was very professional and polite. With how long my car hasn't been cleaned and with all the dust and sand from the desert (on top of how dirty your car can get from shipping and trucking overseas), I expected my car to be in need of a full-blown detail. It's a good thing I took a chance with Chris, because he did not try to up-sell me on anything my car did not need in terms of cleaning, and it turns out my car did not need any extra, luxurious detailing to get it to what it was before I shipped it. His rates are fair, with a starting price based on your type of vehicle (sedan, truck, etc.) and will add on to it depending on what needs to be done (waxing, vacuuming, shampooing, etc.). Very professional, polite, knowledgeable on his craft, and also up-and-coming in the business. Honestly, I really don't like to leave bad reviews but I needed to warn others. I know I can't be…read morethe first to have a bad experience but probably one of the first to share it. Chris came to my house on time and that's where the positive experience ended. I specifically requested for the clay treatment due to tree sap stains. He didn't tell me until the end of the "wash" that the stains had damaged the clear coat and couldn't come out. The inside also didn't look like it had been cleaned so $200 for the outside only and still left with the stains I wanted out? Ok. I asked him if he accepted venmo/Zelle so I could send him payment that way because I had an appointment and would not be able to stay. He tells me he does and so I jump in my car to leave (in another car) while pulling up my Zelle and then he starts screaming outside of my house that he's not leaving until he's paid. (And FYI, my husband was still there). Never once had I indicated that I wasn't going to pay him so the erratic behavior was very strange and completely unprofessional. Afterwards, I messaged him to let him know we didn't appreciate the way he had acted and the lack of professionalism continued as he complained about having to work outside in the sun and even about asking me to park in the street (I asked if he could park on our carport instead so as not to block the road and he agreed never once expressing that it was a problem for him). I'm attaching pics of the car AFTER he was done and the message I received because I know this sounds so unbelievable. Everyone has a bad day and I truly hope that's all this was and this is not his regular interaction with customers. Unfortunately, I will never again use his services to find out. If wiping of interior surfaces and door jams was not part of the $200 interior/exterior detail service then my apologies for assuming. I suppose I should have asked. I sped off to make an appointment I was late for. I was not disrespectful to you ONCE before I left. Yes, I mentioned at the end that we were cleaning the car to attend my father in laws funeral not for sympathy but to let you know we did not enter into this situation for the added stress. Overall Okay job. Service could have been a bit better. It was hard to coordinate an appointment. And show up time was not exactly puntual. Im not trying to be a Karen but when some one says they are to show a certain day or time they should honor this. specially if its their first time providing a service. Price. Over the phone I received an estimate for $40 for a basic wash interior and exterior. He asked for a picture which I sent. When he arrived he hiked the price up to $100. His explanation was that he was going to do the interior. Which i assumed was included in the initial estimate. I specified that he didn't have to because i was pressed for time. He knocked off $20 from the $100 price tag and left me with a quote of $80. At this point they had already started on the car and I gave in for that price. I will be looking for other providers.
