I believe people who are new to spas will find yours amazing, and its ok, everyone can have his own experience and give his feedback. I wanted to try a different spa than the one that I go to monthly and discovered this one when I was given a gift certificate to use. I was fairly impressed by the amount of packages that they offered. I called to book an appointment and asked if it was ok to change the package when I get there as I may not have 4 hours. The lady said this was "absolutely ok". Sadly, once I was there, I was more than disappointed! The place is dingy and the washroom is dirty. The owner/manager (or whoever she is) was rude. I got the Escape Package because I wanted to try everything. I asked on the phone if I could change my package when I got there, and was told that I could. "light lunch" was suppose to be provided, but I was not offered. My appointment was at 12 and I got a call at 11:30 to ask to push it back to 1PM. I was already on my way. So... I got there at 1, and no lunch was provided. I still didn't care at this point. I was too excited to feel zen! The package included mani and pedi. I have acrylic nails on and this was OBVIOUSLY visible when I got there, got a FULL body massage and facial. Once I was ready to get my mani and pedi, the lady tells me that because I have acrylic, she would only be able to take the price of the mani out (29.99 out of $299) because they don't do acrylic. I asked if I could forgo the mani/pedi and do something else instead some other time. She declined even though the therapist said that they have done it for others before. I don't really care about the money, as I spend more than I should on massages/mani/pedi anyway. I didn't like her attitude and service. People go to spa to escape stress, feel better, get treated for sore muscles... and although the massage therapist was kind and understanding, the lady who seemed like the boss wasn't. Also, during the massage, she had to change the cd in the portable player that was right next to me, sometimes creating loud noises. For my facial, they used samples that they probably received from companies. I asked to see the product, and was told that she threw the package in the garbage. There was no More of the same product. I have never left a review for any place before, but this was needed. They will not be getting my business again. Save your money and go to a different spa. read more

I was searching for somewhere that was reputable and came across purple rain spa. I also called a few other places but the customer service itself over the phone was horrible. When I called purple rain spa they were very nice and warm and explained their services thoroughly. When I got there i was a few minutes late but it wasn't an issue for them. The lady that did my bikini waxing was named Roma, she was extremely welcoming , knowledgeable , she took her time it wasn't rushed at all and most importantly she made it as painless as possible. I walked out feeling like I hadn't waxed at all there was 0 throbbing or discomfort. She explained before after and made me feel really comfortable during the process . I went to get my eyebrows waxed and ended up being burned by the wax. The person who did this of course offered me a discount on the next visit instead of owning up to what she had done! There was redness on the shin of my brow but it was just waxed so I thought nothing of it until a few days later when scarring took place, which is why she offered the discount I then realized. I won't be recommending this place to anyone and I hope this post helps others not to waste their and money on establishment who employees could care less! read more

Do not go here! They have such TERRIBLE customer service. I have been trying to call MULTIPLE times to just schedule a service and no one has even answered my call. I've tried over the span of a week! Different days and times. If I'm gonna be spending over $300 i expect a cal back. Take your money to a company that can actually answer a phone. read more
