I discovered this little gem on my way to the post office and have been bringing my dog Darby ever since! He takes baths at home, but I entrust the nail grinding to the team at Purrfect. Since Darby came from a hoarding situation, he is usually nervous about going into any parlor - but the staff here always treats him so kindly and trim his nails super fast. The first time we came it so happened to be the week of the Grand Prix, so they gave Darby a racing stripe bandana (SO CUTE)! I've noticed most clients are small dogs, and highly recommend this local spot for their great service and reasonable rates ($15 for aforementioned nail trim; most big box pet stores charge $20 minimum). I have been taking my dog here for grooming for several years and have always had a good experience. Brought my dog in Mother's Day and after we waited four hours left without a hair cut. Glands were done he just been shampooed. They quickly trimmed his nails. They dried his hair and I took him home without being cut. They asked for $75 the owner told me she forgot to mention she had raised the price since the last time we were in. Disappointed with the experience. Won't be going back. I tried calling the shop after waiting 3 hrs and no one bothered to pick up the phone. I would suggest more groomers or schedule less appointments. I can't say enough good things about this place. We take our dog here weekly for her "spa" treatments. The staff is very friendly and treats her like a queen. The quality of work is impeccable... they spend a lot of time with her and she enjoys her time getting pampered. They truly care about all animals. My dad saw a dog walking alone on the street. It seemed he couldn't find his owner. This place took the dog in without hesitation, cleaned him up and then helped to find his owner. Come to find out the owner was disabled with nowhere to stay and couldn't walk his dog so the dog was essentially walking himself. All that to say they went out of their way to help which is rare and the dog and his owner were happily reunited! Pricing is reasonable for the quality of work. My husband didn't want to drive way to Studio City being that we live in Long Beach and wanted to give this place a try. We couldn't be happier with the service provided and I honestly highly highly recommend! I'm not big on leaving reviews unless I was extremely pleased with the service. Everyone was so kind and welcoming when I arrived to drop off bubbles, especially that I was running 10 minutes late. They were very understanding and were very helpful in answering questions I had. They were so kind, caring and gentle with my bubbles and I love that they posted videos of the process on their instagram story so I got to see our little kitten enjoying himself. This is the worst experience I've had with a dog groomer. I bring my cocker spaniel in for a cut, the woman KNICKS his neck so I have to bring him in soon for her to finish the cut, annoying but OK. I still pay her more than I should have. I book the next appointment weeks later over the phone for 9:30am. The morning of I get a call literally TEN MINUTES PRIOR saying they have to reschedule. Last chance, I rebooked over the phone. This time I bring him in and they happily take him in the back, no issues. Two hours later, I get a call from them telling me I DROPPED HIM OFF TOO EARLY? When asked why they said nothing before, the woman just said "ya that was my fault." So I rush over and find my little boy locked in a cage. They did nothing but lock him in a cage for two hours. Unlike the other groomers I called, they were very flexible and were able to see Tofu the same day for a nail trim (long overdue). Prices were reasonable. Upon arrival, the lady working in the front who also did the nail trimming was very sweet and attentive. Tofu's usually anxious when he meets people, but she made sure he was comfortable. There's a certain attitude here that I didn't expect. I was told my dog is aggressive and difficult. Everyone who even looks at my dog knows he's the most docile thing you'll ever meet. He's four years old and is not new to being groomed. I just moved so wanted to find a place closer. They charged me an extra $15 for him being "difficult" and then wouldn't allow me to bring him back unless I brought him in every month for "grooming training" so basically they wanted more money and claim they're professional hair cutters and pointed to my dogs hair on his paws that the reason I never had this issue before is because his cuts weren't professionally done. A few months later and his paw hair grew out just the same as the last grooming spot we went too! Let's just say I will be making the 30 minute drive to go back to his original groomer in OC. read more

Used to absolutely love this groomers my fur baby turned out cute everytime so I would give 5 stars! Unfortunately, the last time my yorkie got cut, he came back with fleas. My dog is never around other dogs aside from going to the groomer or the vet, so I knew where it had come from.
