Scheduled movers for a Saturday move. Was told they would arrive between 11-12. Sent text to confirm early Saturday morning. Movers confirmed, but never showed. Calls and texts went ignored. My husband and I are pastors, we understand things happen. We were in no rush, we had the entire day to move. But no call, no show, is really bad business. By the grace of God, we were at the gas station and a moving company pulled up next to us and they moved us within the hour. Will post a great review for that company. read more

I scheduled Put God First through U-haul three prior to my move and spoke with them on the phone 5 days before the move to set a scheduled time. We agreed on a 9:30 am start time and I was told I would be contacted at 8:30 am on the day of the move for additional confirmation and an ETA. On the day of the move, I called and texted several times, but never received a response. Furthermore, with Moving Help being a 3rd party, U-haul is unable to help or provide any sort of credit/adjustment to reservation of vehicle. It cost me a lot of time and money to quickly schedule new movers and extend the truck I rented. Please do not hire these guys. It's so ironic their name is faith based. Please do not use this company they are not reliable. I scheduled an appointment on 6-2-2022 for a person in need. When I spoke with Ivory he assured me they could handle the job. I never received a courtesy confirmation the day before are the morning of. I contact Ivory 6-20-2022, he sound like he was high on something. He told me we had canceled our appointment. I informed he must have his customer mixed up. He had me to resend the address and I did he said he would be right there. That did not happen. The person I was trying to help get moved. VERY poor job loading my U-BOX!!!! Wadded up furniture pads and refused to remove them to fit the rest of my boxes and very heavy stuff!!!! Blamed everything on U-Haul even though they are supposed to be the professional movers!!!! Please don't EVER use them!!!! When I tried to get them make it right they refused and told me never to contact them again! I have pictures of the mess they left me. First off, we booked them through Uhaul and received a message that they would contact us within 24 hours. They did not. We called their number and got an unknown voicemail. I left a message and didn't get a call back. We contacted uhaul to intervene and, meanwhile, called again and finally got through. Things started to look promising. We asked them to arrive by 12 pm 2 days later, for a small but heavy unload. When they still hadn't arrived by 1 pm on the scheduled day, I asked them how much longer until they arrived. 30 minutes later, they said they wouldn't be done with their current job until 3 pm. We needed to return our Uhaul at 3, which I explained. Beyond that, I never heard anything from them. I canceled and got refunded through Uhaul. I still never heard from them. I completely understand being busy, but communication can go a long way. I am very disappointed that my husband had to unload everything and carry upstairs himself, which is what we were trying to Voud. read more

I'd give them absolutely no stars if possible how can you have a Brand name utilizing God the Almighty when you are people whom do not have any concern for his children. I booked with them almost a month in advance I expressed to them we've had issues with a previous moving companies, that we are trusting in theirs, we have no family to assist us with the move it's just my husband and my four children under six. She never called me in return three hours later I call back and her phone continued to go to voicemail and the men never picked up theirs lines no one has even attempt to call me back or message me back via cell numbers. I hired these guys through uhaul to help me move out of storage and into my new house. When I first met them they were very kind and caring. I've been going through some hard things lately and they seemed really concerned. I told them I couldn't afford to pay for any more hours than what I had already paid for. I told the owner to have his guys only worry about the stuff I couldn't get myself when he did the walk around of my storage units. I kept telling the workers that I couldn't afford to pay for more than I had already paid. They kept telling me not to worry that "they got me". I am being charged an additional $1100.00 because these guys did not listen. I told the owner that he needed to reduce the cost for one hour per guy due to them taking smoke and snack breaks and he told me he would only listen after I paid him the balance. The guys were trying to get the final load on the truck, they wanted to stack my new washer and dryer, I told them not to as I didn't want them dented or scratched, they tried anyway and dented the back of the washing machine and the top of the dryer. They broke my entertainment center and the owner doesn't care...he just wants his money. The guys made me think they were donating their time past what I had paid for....guess they saw "sucker" written on my forehead. Like another reviewer said, their God is money!!! I'm sorry I chose them. Not real sure how they got a 5 star rating on uhaul. I would give a zero if I could. Do not hire these guys!! Especially if you are alone and no one else with you. I moved to back to Texas, and decided to use "Put God First Mover", and to be honest with all of y'all I don't know where to begin. When I called to confirm that they would come at the appointed time, I also asked them to bring a dolly to move washer, dryer, couch, etc. First the men who moved me in were nice enough fellows, but they forgot to bring the dolly, arrived an hour late. They did not know how to set up the ramp which is used to go up/down into the truck. Then both men left for approximately 2 hours just to drive down to a U-Haul rental place to rent a dolly they forgot to bring in the first place. I had to do the unloading of what I could carry because it had begun to rain and wanted to bring in my things before they got wet. All they were concerned about was getting paid. I guess their god is "money". I do not recommend this company even if they were the only moving company in town. Yes, I know it sounds harsh, but honesty is the best policy....
