I could literally cry, writing this review. These people tore a hole in my ceiling, moving a bed upstairs. I tried reaching out to the owner and received no follow-up. This is my new home and it's already ruined. I'm even disappointed with the services provided in our beginning conversation. The owner promised 3 men and stated that it would take "30 minutes" to also take down a playset. Not lying I have the text messages to provide it. I even provided pictures of the playset. When the guys arrived, they stated that they don't know why he said 30 minutes because it has many bolts that needs to be taken out. So the playset was never taken down. Fast forward to the actual move of the big items. I want to start by saying that the movers were very nice! But the owner did not properly communicate the need for this move, which puts them in a terrible situation. These two men tried to do an entire 5 bedroom house move in 3-4 hours resulting in a large hole in my ceiling and one of the movers throwing up extremely bad in my restroom from over exertion. I reached out to the owner and he has yet to reply with a fix for my ceiling, which was quoted $300 + by now 4 different places. I am extremely disappointed out of $600 for the move and now $300 for a hole that should be taken care of by the owner. read more

Worst move ever. If you read their other google reviews people have had similar though those are dated which leads me to believe there may be some friend reviews. Showed up two hours late to my move. (Scheduled at 8 am came at 10). Did not wrap my furniture in blankets n wrap but two pieces. Most were unwrapped. The few that were wrapped had serran wrap but only that and only half. None of the furniture was secured. The furniture laid all over each other like Tetris pieces that fell. They carried one box at a time when i asked where dollys were they said they had six. Never used. Making it longer of a move and tiring them faster. You could hear them ding my stuff on the walls. I had to move my stuff too. I had to also break down my bed and heavyweight stand and rebuild them. By tvs remained unwrapped also. They left a lot of my stuff outside on the sidewalk. Had the balls the complain bout the Powerade's i bought n snacks do i got more. Broke a shelf n told me I could still use it. Damaged my furniture. Got blood on my furniture. Tried to "man handle" my elliptical when it didn't go down from the upright position to which i said you break it you buy it. Myself and my friend requested insurance info to which we were not given. Even on breaks they denied they damaged stuff. I was so mad and my friend at that point was like screw it this is bad if the owner isn't helping. 6 hour love. The worst ever. $1000. It'll cost more to fix what they broke. I text him today on 9/6. Let's see what turns up. The read notifications are on. I have a crap ton of pics. This second move of ours has been extremely stressful due to the timing, the location of our new home (last time our move was just a minute away) and the amount of packing I've had to do this time around. Reggie and his crew were fantastic! They securely packed up our 4-bedroom home in about 6 hours and safely moved it all to Houston for us. Once arrived, it took them about another 6 hours to unload, including reassembling our furniture and installing our washer and dryer. They put all the boxes in the rooms we asked them to without any complaints despite us moving into a 2-story home. He and his team were incredibly courteous and careful with not only our furniture/boxes but also our walls and door frames. What impressed me the most was how friendly and cordial they were even at the end of the day. They won't stop until the job is complete, and when they're done, they're still smiling. They're fast, responsive, mindful, considerate, honest, and best of all, very reasonably priced. They'll come out to give you a quote, and your final quote is exactly what you'll pay. Not all companies will come out and give you a fair comparison and quote based on the amount of stuff you actually have versus the number of rooms in your house. If I had one small "negative" comment, it'd be that they showed up late both to pack and unload. HOWEVER, they did notify us what time they'd be over to our house, and it was just a 1-2hr difference. Great moving company! Reggie the co-owner who is also one of the movers that came to move us were great! They worked really hard and efficient. 3 movers for $160 was about average based from a couple of companies that I got quote from. They charge less on the one time fee than all the other companies. We moved from a 2 bed/2bath apartment on a 3 floor to a house. The job was finished in about 2 and a half hours. Reggie is very responsive via text and easy to get a hold of. They ripped my brand new box spring up and when I called and told them about it their reply was "it's on the bottom isn't it?" It doesn't matter where the rips and tears are located, they ruined something that I paid my hard earned money for. Not to mention they scratched up my bedroom door at my old apartment moving my furniture out of the room. When I called I was told to send my email so they could send me the paperwork to file a claim and they never sent the paperwork. I would not recommend this moving company at all. I scheduled to have On the Spot Moving Company help me move on August 18, 2018. The quoted rate was $160/hr with 3 movers. On the moving day, they showed up late with a defective truck and ask to postpone the move to next day @ 9AM. The next day, they showed up late again and did not start moving until 10:30AM. The moving concluded around 5:20PM. They charged me a total of 7.5 hours, and the actual moving time was far shorter than that. Excluding the travel time from old house to new house, they took almost 40 mins of lunch time and billed me for it. The pool table, along with many other pieces of furniture, quote was not moved as they initially promised and I had to hire someone else to finish the work. The quality of the moving was sub-par. After the moving crew left, I noticed a lot of furniture/appliances were not restored to their original state prior to the move. Take refrigerator as an example, the door handles were missing, and the refrigerator was also not hooked up to the water source because the water tube and connecters were all gone. The moving crew also caused water damage to my new house due to their negligence. I was out of town for work on 8/20, when I returned home on the night of 8/21, I noticed there was large pool of water outside and inside of my garage. Upon inspection, I found water was leaking out of the wall. I went into kitchen and found water all over the place near the refrigerator area. Turned out the water switch was not sealed properly by the moving crew (they attempted to connect it but didn't finish the work) and water has been leaking constantly since the moving day (8/19). I immediately notified the owner of the company (Corey), he texted me back the next day with few questions, and promised to get back with me. I waited 3 weeks, which I believe is more than reasonable amount of time for Corey to contact me with a solution to make for their negligence, but I never heard back from Corey or anyone from On the Spot Moving Company. read more

These movers are the worst I have ever used, compelling me to write my first Yelp review. 1. They showed up 3 hours later than they told me they could. During this 3 hour wait time, I was repeatedly reassured that they would be arriving "soon," thus preventing me from making other arrangements. 2. They did not wrap or pad my furniture before moving it out of my apartment. They only padded my furniture with blankets while in the truck. My furniture was unprotected while moving to and from the truck. 3. They were not strong enough to carry my couch into the hallway without running into several walls and leaving large dents, even though they removed all of the cushions first. They did not carry it correctly. I'm honestly afraid to check it for the damage incurred. 4. They dented up several pieces of my furniture. My brand new Mitchell Gold headboard was left covered in snags and tiny chips of wood and dirt from the truck. 5. They took 4.5 hours to move my 1 bedroom apartment about 1 mile away. My dad and I had already moved all of my boxes and small furniture down to the loading dock by the time they arrived. I have no idea how it took them 3 hours to just put those items onto the truck, and move a bed, tv, coffee table, 2 mirrors, and couch. All I had them do when unloading was drop of my furniture and boxes. I had to hire someone else to move things in place and put my bed together. 6. They charged me $380 for this service. read more

Superb moving company with the most professional attitude. Corey and his team has been more than accommodating. I had them go to uptown then euless cause the elevator was not available. My mistake and they didn't charge me! Then euless uptown and then frisco. The move was more than 7 hours. They literally did not stop once. We had really heavy furniture and they took the most care for them. Literally 400 pounds dead weight. They were extremely communicative to let me know their status and progress. I was very disappointed with my entire moving experience using On The Spot. They arrived late & took forever moving my things. It took them over 5 hours to move me from a 2 bedroom duplex into a 1 bedroom apartment only 15 minutes away. Since they took so long loading the truck, me & my parents had to take it upon ourselves to start moving my things for them.They took over 30+ minutes pausing to figure out how to pack in all of my stuff into their truck. On the way to my new place they charged me for the time they took to fill up their truck with gas, which they should have done before arriving. How ridiculous is that? They didn't have any tools needed to unscrew my furniture & they didn't have anything to wrap my furniture in to protect it. Once we arrived at my new place they ended up getting my sofa stuck in the doorway. I had to have my daughter bring a screwdriver over to unscrew the legs from the sofa so that they could finish moving it into my apartment. They ended up damaging the legs to my sofa & broke several pieces of my elliptical machine. Needless to say, this entire experience made a stressful situation even worse.
